They settledfrom Havilahto Shurwhichis eastof Egyptas one goestoward Assyria;he settledin defianceof allhis relatives.
To Him who ledHis peoplethrough the wilderness,For His lovingkindnessis everlasting;
You ledYour peoplelike a flockBy the handof Mosesand Aaron.
But He ledforthHis own peoplelike sheepAnd guidedthem in the wildernesslike a flock;

They journeyedfrom beforeHahirothand passedthrough the midstof the seainto the wilderness;and they wentthreedays'journeyin the wildernessof Ethamand campedat Marah.
So Sauldefeatedthe Amalekites,from Havilahas you goto Shur,whichis eastof Egypt.
Now Davidand his menwentup and raidedthe Geshuritesand the Girzitesand the Amalekites;for they were the inhabitantsof the landfrom ancienttimes,as you cometo Shureven as faras the landof Egypt.
