So Mosesstretchedout his handoverthe sea,and the seareturnedto its normalstateat daybreak,while the Egyptianswere fleeingrightinto it; then the LORDoverthrewthe Egyptiansin the midstof the sea.
"You dividedthe seabeforethem, So they passedthrough the midstof the seaon dryground;And their pursuersYou hurledinto the depths,Likea stoneinto ragingwaters.
The waterscoveredtheir adversaries;Not oneof them was left.
But He overthrewPharaohand his armyin the RedSea,For His lovingkindnessis everlasting.
He ledthem safely,so that they did not fear;But the seaengulfedtheir enemies.
The LORDof hostswill arousea scourgeagainsthim like the slaughterof Midianat the rockof Oreb;and His staffwill be overthe seaand He will liftit up the way[He did] in Egypt.
and whatHe didto Egypt'sarmy,to its horsesand its chariots,whenHe made the waterof the RedSeato engulfthem while they were pursuingyou, and the LORDcompletelydestroyedthem;
By faiththey passed throughthe RedSeaas though[they were passing] throughdryland;and the Egyptians,when they attemptedit, were drowned.
But when they criedout to the LORD,He putdarknessbetweenyou and the Egyptians,and broughtthe seaupon them and coveredthem; and your own eyessawwhatI didin Egypt.And you livedin the wildernessfor a longtime.
It cameabout when the priestswho carriedthe arkof the covenantof the LORDhad comeup from the middleof the Jordan,and the solesof the priests'feetwere liftedup to the dryground,that the watersof the Jordanreturnedto their place,and wentoverallits banksas before.
