So Mosesstretchedout his staffoverthe landof Egypt,and the LORDdirectedan eastwindon the landallthat dayand allthat night;and when it was morning,the eastwindbroughtthe locusts.
Then behold,sevenears,thinand scorchedby the eastwind,sproutedup afterthem.
He spoke,and locustscame,And younglocusts,even withoutnumber,
Fireand hail,snowand clouds;Stormywind,fulfillingHis word;
He caused the eastwindto blowin the heavensAnd by His powerHe directedthe southwind.
He gavealso their cropsto the grasshopperAnd the productof their laborto the locust.
Then Mosesstretchedout his handoverthe sea;and the LORDsweptthe sea[back] by a strongeastwindallnightand turnedthe seainto dryland,so the waterswere divided.
The locustshavenoking,Yet allof them goout in ranks;
The LORDhurleda greatwindon the seaand there was a greatstormon the seaso that the shipwas about to breakup.
When the suncameup Godappointeda scorchingeastwind,and the sunbeatdownon Jonah'sheadso that he becamefaintand beggedwith [all] his soulto die,saying,"Deathis betterto me thanlife."
The menwere amazed,and said,"What kindof a manis this,that eventhe windsand the seaobeyHim?"
