The earthwas formlessand void,and darknesswas overthe surfaceof the deep,and the Spiritof Godwas movingoverthe surfaceof the waters.
He rodeupon a cheruband flew;And He spedupon the wingsof the wind.
You yourselveshave seenwhatI didto the Egyptians,and [how] I boreyou on eagles'wings,and broughtyou to Myself.
Like flyingbirdssothe LORDof hostswill protectJerusalem.He will protectand deliver[it]; He will passoverand rescue[it].
Yet those who waitfor the LORDWill gainnewstrength;They will mountup [with] wingslike eagles,They will runand not gettired,They will walkand not becomeweary.
Even to [your] oldageI will be the same,And evento [your] grayingyearsI will bear[you]! I have done[it], and I will carry[you]; And I will bear[you] and I will deliver[you].

By faithwe understandthat the worldswere preparedby the wordof God,sothat what is seenwas not madeout of things which are visible.
But the twowingsof the greateaglewere givento the woman,sothat she could flyinto the wildernessto her place,whereshe was nourishedfor a timeand timesand halfa time,from the presenceof the serpent.
And his tailswept awaya thirdof the starsof heavenand threwthem to the earth.And the dragonstoodbeforethe womanwho was aboutto givebirth,sothat whenshe gave birthhe might devourher child.
