"Now behold,Godis with us at [our] headand His priestswith the signaltrumpetsto soundthe alarmagainstyou. O sonsof Israel,do not fightagainstthe LORDGodof your fathers,for you will not succeed."
You [need] not fightin this[battle]; stationyourselves, standand seethe salvationof the LORDon your behalf,O Judahand Jerusalem.'Do not fearor be dismayed;tomorrowgoout to facethem, for the LORDis with you."
And the dreadof Godwas on allthe kingdomsof the landswhen they heardthat the LORDhad foughtagainstthe enemiesof Israel.
"At whateverplaceyou hearthe soundof the trumpet,rallyto us there.Our Godwill fightfor us."
For by their own swordthey did not possessthe land,And their own armdid not savethem, But Your righthandand Your armand the lightof Your presence,For You favoredthem.
"The LORDwill fightfor you while you keepsilent."
He caused their chariotwheelsto swerve,and He made them drivewith difficulty;so the Egyptianssaid,"Let us fleefrom Israel,for the LORDis fightingfor them against the Egyptians."
But the LORDsaidto Moses,"Do not fearhim, for I have givenhim into your hand,and allhis peopleand his land;and you shall doto him as you didto Sihon,kingof the Amorites,wholivedat Heshbon."
The LORDyour Godwho goesbeforeyou will Himselffighton your behalf, justas He didfor you in Egyptbefore your eyes,
"Whenyou goout to battleagainstyour enemiesand seehorsesand chariots[and] peoplemorenumerousthanyou, do not be afraidof them; for the LORDyour God,whobroughtyou up from the landof Egypt,is with you.
for the LORDyour Godis the one who goeswith you, to fightfor you againstyour enemies,to saveyou.'
"I commandedJoshuaat that time,saying,'Your eyeshave seenallthat the LORDyour Godhas doneto thesetwokings;sothe LORDshall doto allthe kingdomsinto whichyou are about to cross.
"I also pleadedwith the LORDat that time,saying,
Joshuacapturedallthesekingsand their landsat onetime,becausethe LORD,the Godof Israel,foughtfor Israel.
"Oneof your menputsto flighta thousand,for the LORDyour Godis He who fightsfor you, justas He promisedyou.
