you shall devoteto the LORDthe firstoffspringof everywomb,and the firstoffspringof everybeastthat you own;the malesbelong to the LORD.
"Sanctifyto Me everyfirstborn,the firstoffspringof everywombamong the sonsof Israel,both of manand beast;it belongs to Me."
"You shall not delay[the offering from] your harvestand your vintage.The firstbornof your sonsyou shall giveto Me.
"You shall dothe samewith your oxen[and] with your sheep.It shall be with its mothersevendays;on the eighthdayyou shall giveit to Me.
"The firstoffspringfrom everywombbelongs to Me, and allyour malelivestock,the firstoffspringfrom cattleand sheep.
However,a firstbornamong animals,whichas a firstbornbelongs to the LORD,nomanmay consecrateit; whetheroxorsheep,it is the LORD'S.
"Everyfirstissueof the wombof allflesh,whether manor animal,whichthey offerto the LORD,shall be yours; neverthelessthe firstbornof manyou shall surelyredeem,and the firstbornof uncleananimalsyou shall redeem.
"But the firstbornof an oxorthe firstbornof a sheeporthe firstbornof a goat,you shall not redeem;they are holy.You shall sprinkletheir bloodon the altarand shall offerup their fatin smoke[as] an offeringby fire,for a soothingaromato the LORD.
"For allthe firstbornare Mine; on the daythat I struckdownallthe firstbornin the landof Egypt,I sanctifiedto Myself allthe firstbornin Israel,from manto beast.They shall be Mine; I am the LORD."
For those whomHe foreknew,He alsopredestined[to become] conformedto the imageof His Son,sothat He would be the firstbornamongmanybrethren;
then it shall comeabout that the placein whichthe LORDyour Godwill choosefor His nameto dwell,thereyou shall bringallthat I commandyou: your burntofferingsand your sacrifices,your tithesand the contributionof your hand,and allyour choicevotiveofferingswhichyou will vowto the LORD.
"You are not allowedto eatwithin your gatesthe titheof your grainor newwineor oil,or the firstbornof your herdor flock,or anyof your votiveofferingswhichyou vow,or your freewillofferings,or the contributionof your hand.
"You shall eatin the presenceof the LORDyour God,at the placewhereHe choosesto establishHis name,the titheof your grain,your newwine,your oil,and the firstbornof your herdand your flock,sothat you may learnto fearthe LORDyour Godalways.
"It shall not seemhardto you when you sethim free,for he has givenyou sixyears[with] doublethe serviceof a hiredman;so the LORDyour Godwill blessyou in whateveryou do.
and you shall rejoicebeforethe LORDyour God,you and your sonand your daughterand your maleand femaleservantsand the Levitewhois in your town,and the strangerand the orphanand the widowwhoare in your midst,in the placewherethe LORDyour Godchoosesto establishHis name.
and you shall rejoicein your feast,you and your sonand your daughterand your maleand femaleservantsand the Leviteand the strangerand the orphanand the widowwhoare in your towns.
to the general assemblyand churchof the firstbornwho are enrolledin heaven,and to God,the Judgeof all,and to the spiritsof [the] righteousmade perfect,
