"Manyof those whosleepin the dustof the groundwill awake,theseto everlastinglife,but the othersto disgrace[and] everlastingcontempt.
A manwill be praisedaccordingto his insight,But one of perversemindwill be despised.
Your deadwill live;Their corpseswill rise.You who liein the dust,awakeand shoutfor joy,For your dew[is as] the dewof the dawn,And the earthwill givebirthto the departedspirits.
"Then they will goforthand lookOn the corpsesof the menWho have transgressedagainst Me. For their wormwill not dieAnd their firewill not be quenched;And they will be an abhorrenceto allmankind."
But the LORDis with me like a dreadchampion;Thereforemy persecutorswill stumbleand not prevail.They will be utterlyashamed,becausethey have failed,With an everlastingdisgracethat will not be forgotten.
"Thereforeprophesyand sayto them, 'Thussaysthe LordGOD,"Behold,I will openyour gravesand cause you to comeup out of your graves,My people;and I will bringyou into the landof Israel.
Shall I ransomthem from the powerof Sheol?Shall I redeemthem from death?O Death,whereare your thorns?O Sheol,whereis your sting?Compassionwill be hiddenfrom My sight.
"Thesewill go awayinto eternalpunishment,but the righteousinto eternallife."
havinga hopein God,whichthese mencherishthemselves,that there shall certainlybe a resurrectionof boththe righteousand the wicked.
Thenfallingon his knees,he criedout with a loudvoice,"Lord,do not holdthissinagainst them!" Having saidthis,he fell asleep.
Ordoes not the potterhavea rightover the clay,to makefrom the samelumponevesselfor honorable useand anotherfor common use?
For ifwe believethat Jesusdiedand rose again,evensoGodwill bringwith Him thosewho have fallen asleepin Jesus.
And I sawthe dead,the greatand the small,standingbeforethe throne,and bookswere opened;and anotherbookwas opened,whichis [the book] of life;and the deadwere judgedfrom the things which were writtenin the books,accordingto their deeds.
