"He will pitchthe tentsof his royalpavilionbetweenthe seasand the beautifulHolyMountain;yet he will cometo his end,and noonewill helphim.
Beautifulin elevation,the joyof the wholeearth,Is MountZion[in] the farnorth,The cityof the greatKing.
So it will be that whenthe Lordhas completedallHis workon MountZionand on Jerusalem,[He will say], "I will punishthe fruitof the arrogantheartof the kingof Assyriaand the pompof his haughtiness."
They will not hurtor destroyin allMy holymountain,For the earthwill be fullof the knowledgeof the LORDAs the waterscoverthe sea.
"But you saidin your heart,I will ascendto heaven;I will raisemy throneabovethe starsof God,And I will siton the mountof assemblyIn the recessesof the north.
Now it will comeabout that In the lastdaysThe mountainof the houseof the LORDWill be establishedas the chiefof the mountains,And will be raisedabovethe hills;And allthe nationswill streamto it.
It will comeabout also in that daythat a greattrumpetwill be blown,and those who were perishingin the landof Assyriaand who were scatteredin the landof Egyptwill comeand worshipthe LORDin the holymountainat Jerusalem.
"The wolfand the lambwill grazetogether,and the lionwill eatstrawlike the ox;and dustwill be the serpent'sfood.They will donoevilor harmin allMy holymountain,"saysthe LORD.
"Then they shall bringallyour brethrenfrom allthe nationsas a grain offeringto the LORD,on horses,in chariots,in litters,on mulesand on camels,to My holymountainJerusalem,"saysthe LORD,"justas the sonsof Israelbringtheir grain offeringin a cleanvesselto the houseof the LORD.
and I will turnyou around,driveyou on, takeyou up from the remotestpartsof the northand bringyou againstthe mountainsof Israel.
"But he who comesagainsthim will doas he pleases,and noonewill [be able to] withstandhim; he will also stay[for a time] in the BeautifulLand,with destructionin his hand.
"He will also enterthe BeautifulLand,and many[countries] will fall;but thesewill be rescuedout of his hand:Edom,Moaband the foremostof the sonsof Ammon.
"But rumorsfrom the Eastand from the Northwill disturbhim, and he will goforthwith greatwrathto destroyand annihilatemany.
"Thenthe iron,the clay,the bronze,the silverand the goldwere crushedallat the sametimeand becamelike chafffrom the summerthreshingfloors;and the windcarriedthem away so that not a traceof them was found.But the stonethat struckthe statuebecamea greatmountainand filledthe wholeearth.
But the courtwill sit[for judgment], and his dominionwill be takenaway,annihilatedand destroyedforever.
"And throughhis shrewdnessHe will cause deceitto succeedby his influence;And he will magnify[himself] in his heart,And he will destroymanywhile [they are] at ease.He will even opposethe Princeof princes,But he will be brokenwithouthumanagency.
"O Lord,in accordance with allYour righteousacts,let nowYour angerand Your wrathturnawayfrom Your cityJerusalem,Your holymountain;for becauseof our sinsand the iniquitiesof our fathers,Jerusalemand Your people[have become] a reproachto allthose aroundus.
Now whileI was speakingand praying,and confessingmy sinand the sinof my peopleIsrael,and presentingmy supplicationbeforethe LORDmy Godin behalfof the holymountainof my God,
"But I will removethe northern[army] farfrom you, And I will driveit into a parchedand desolateland,And its vanguardinto the easternsea,And its rearguard into the westernsea.And its stenchwill ariseand its foulsmellwill comeup, For it has donegreatthings."
Manynationswill comeand say,"Comeand let us goup to the mountainof the LORDAnd to the houseof the Godof Jacob,That He may teachus aboutHis waysAnd that we may walkin His paths."For from Zionwill goforththe law,Even the wordof the LORDfrom Jerusalem.
And in that daylivingwaterswill flowout of Jerusalem,halfof them towardthe easternseaand the other halftowardthe westernsea;it will be in summeras well as in winter.
The bordershall turn[direction] from Azmonto the brookof Egypt,and its terminationshall be at the sea.
who opposesand exaltshimself aboveeveryso-calledgodorobject of worship,sothat he takes his seatin the templeof God,displayinghimselfas beingGod.
Thenthat lawless onewill be revealedwhomthe Lordwill slaywith the breathof His mouthand bring to an endby the appearanceof His coming;
Ifanyone[is destined] for captivity,to captivityhe goes;ifanyonekillswith the sword,with the swordhe mustbe killed.Hereis the perseveranceand the faithof the saints.
And he laid holdof the dragon,the serpentof old,whois the deviland Satan,and boundhim for a thousandyears;
And they cameup on the broad plainof the earthand surroundedthe campof the saintsand the belovedcity,and firecame downfrom heavenand devouredthem.
