seeingthat His divinepowerhas grantedto us everythingpertainingto lifeand godliness,throughthe true knowledgeof Him who calledus by His owngloryand excellence.
Your peoplewill volunteerfreelyin the dayof Your power;In holyarray,from the wombof the dawn,Your youthare to You [as] the dew.
For the LORDGodis a sunand shield;The LORDgivesgraceand glory;Nogoodthingdoes He withholdfrom those who walkuprightly.
An excellentwifeis the crownof her husband,But she who shames[him] is like rottennessin his bones.
An excellentwife,whocan find?For her worthis farabovejewels.
"Manydaughtershave donenobly,But you excelthem all."
And Jesuscameup and spoketo them, saying,"Allauthorityhas been givento Me in heavenand on earth.
He whodid not spareHis ownSon,but deliveredHim over for us all,howwill He not alsowith Him freely giveus all things?
[even] us, whomHe alsocalled,not from amongJewsonly,but alsofrom amongGentiles.
Godis faithful,throughwhomyou were calledinto fellowshipwith His Son,JesusChristour Lord.
And He has saidto me, "My graceis sufficientfor you, for poweris perfectedin weakness."Most gladly,therefore,I will ratherboastaboutmy weaknesses,sothat the powerof Christmay dwellin me.
ThereforeI, the prisonerof the Lord,imploreyou to walkin a manner worthyof the callingwith whichyou have been called,
[There is] onebodyand oneSpirit,justas alsoyou were calledin onehopeof your calling;
More thanthat, I countallthingsto be lossin viewof the surpassing valueof knowingChristJesusmy Lord,for whomI have suffered the lossof all things,and countthem but rubbishsothat I may gainChrist,
Finally,brethren,whateveris true,whateveris honorable,whateveris right,whateveris pure,whateveris lovely,whateveris of good repute,ifthere is anyexcellenceand ifanythingworthy of praise,dwellon these things.
For by Him allthingswere created,[both] in the heavensand on earth,visibleand invisible,whetherthronesordominionsorrulersorauthorities--all thingshave been createdthroughHim and for Him.
sothat you would walkin a manner worthyof the Godwho callsyou into His ownkingdomand glory.
For Godhas not calledus for the purpose of impurity,but in sanctification.
It was for thisHe calledyou throughour gospel,that you may gainthe gloryof our LordJesusChrist.
for bodilydisciplineis only of littleprofit,but godlinessis profitablefor all things,since it holdspromisefor the presentlifeand [also] for the [life] to come.
who has savedus and calledus with a holycalling,not accordingto our works,but accordingto His ownpurposeand gracewhich was grantedus in ChristJesusfrom alleternity,
And He is the radianceof His gloryand the exact representationof His nature,and upholdsall thingsby the wordof His power.When He had madepurificationof sins,He sat downat the right handof the Majestyon high,
but likethe HolyOnewho calledyou, be holyyourselvesalsoin all[your] behavior;
who are protectedby the powerof Godthroughfaithfor a salvationreadyto be revealedin the lasttime.
For you have been calledfor thispurpose, sinceChristalsosufferedfor you, leavingyou an examplefor you to followin His steps,
But you are A CHOSENRACE,A royalPRIESTHOOD,A HOLYNATION,A PEOPLEFOR [God's] OWN POSSESSION,sothat you may proclaimthe excellenciesof Him who has calledyou out of darknessinto His marvelouslight;
not returningevilfor evilorinsultfor insult,but giving a blessinginstead;for you were calledfor the verypurpose that you might inherita blessing.
After you have sufferedfor a little while,the Godof allgrace,who calledyou to His eternalgloryin Christ,will Himselfperfect,confirm,strengthen[and] establishyou.
Therefore,brethren,be all the morediligentto makecertainabout His callingand choosingyou; for as long as you practicethese things,you will neverstumble;
Graceand peacebe multipliedto you in the knowledgeof Godand of Jesusour Lord;
Nowfor thisveryreason also,applyingalldiligence,in your faithsupplymoralexcellence, and in [your] moral excellence,knowledge,
and in [your] knowledge,self-control,and in [your] self-control,perseverance,and in [your] perseverance,godliness,
For if these[qualities] are yoursand are increasing,they renderyou neitheruselessnorunfruitfulin the true knowledgeof our LordJesusChrist.
For if,after they have escapedthe defilementsof the worldby the knowledgeof the Lordand SaviorJesusChrist,they are againentangledin them and are overcome,the laststate has becomeworsefor them than the first.
but growin the graceand knowledgeof our Lordand SaviorJesusChrist.To Him [be] the glory,bothnowand to the dayof eternity.Amen.
"Now,my daughter,do not fear.I will dofor you whateveryou ask,for allmy peoplein the cityknowthat you are a womanof excellence.
