NowSolomonhad madea bronzeplatform,fivecubitslong,fivecubitswideand threecubitshigh,and had setit in the midstof the court;and he stoodon it, knelton his kneesin the presenceof allthe assemblyof Israeland spreadout his handstoward heaven.
He builtthe innercourtwith threerowsof cutstoneand a rowof cedarbeams.
So the greatcourtallaround[had] threerowsof cutstoneand a rowof cedarbeamseven as the innercourtof the houseof the LORD,and the porchof the house.
When Solomonhad finishedprayingthisentireprayerand supplicationto the LORD,he arosefrom beforethe altarof the LORD,from kneelingon his kneeswith his handsspreadtoward heaven.
Then he madethe courtof the priestsand the greatcourtand doorsfor the court,and overlaidtheir doorswith bronze.
Then he stoodbeforethe altarof the LORDin the presenceof allthe assemblyof Israeland spreadout his hands.
But at the eveningofferingI arosefrom my humiliation,even with my garmentand my robetorn,and I fellon my kneesand stretchedout my handsto the LORDmy God;
When I heardthesewords,I satdownand weptand mournedfor days;and I was fastingand prayingbeforethe Godof heaven.
Ezrathe scribestoodat a woodenpodiumwhichthey had madefor the purpose.And besidehim stoodMattithiah,Shema,Anaiah,Uriah,Hilkiah,and Maaseiahon his righthand;and Pedaiah,Mishael,Malchijah,Hashum,Hashbaddanah,Zechariah[and] Meshullamon his lefthand.
Come,let us worshipand bowdown,Let us kneelbeforethe LORDour Maker.
Mosessaidto him, "As soon as I goout of the city,I will spreadout my handsto the LORD;the thunderwill ceaseand there will be hailnolonger,that you may knowthat the earthis the LORD'S.
Now whenDanielknewthat the documentwas signed,he enteredhis house(now in his roofchamberhe had windowsopentowardJerusalem);and he continued kneelingon his kneesthreetimesa day,prayingand givingthanksbeforehis God,as he had been doingpreviously.
And He withdrewfrom them abouta stone'sthrow,and He kneltdownand [began] to pray,
When he had saidthese things,he kneltdownand prayedwith them all.
Whenour daysthere were ended,we leftand startedon our journey,while they all,with wivesand children,escortedus until[we were] out of the city.After kneelingdownon the beachand praying,we said farewellto one another.
