Then Hannahprayedand said,"My heartexultsin the LORD;My hornis exaltedin the LORD,My mouthspeaksboldlyagainstmy enemies,BecauseI rejoicein Your salvation.
Everymanof Judahand Jerusalemreturnedwith Jehoshaphatat their head,returningto Jerusalemwith joy,for the LORDhad made them to rejoiceovertheir enemies.
and Mattaniahthe sonof Mica,the sonof Zabdi,the sonof Asaph,who was the leaderin beginningthe thanksgivingat prayer,and Bakbukiah,the secondamonghis brethren;and Abdathe sonof Shammua,the sonof Galal,the sonof Jeduthun.
"I have sewedsackclothovermy skinAnd thrustmy hornin the dust.
The LORDis my strengthand song,And He has becomemy salvation.
But I have trustedin Your lovingkindness;My heartshall rejoicein Your salvation.
And He has liftedup a hornfor His people,Praisefor allHis godlyones;[Even] for the sonsof Israel,a peoplenearto Him. Praisethe LORD!
The LORDis my rockand my fortressand my deliverer,My God,my rock,in whom I takerefuge;My shieldand the hornof my salvation,my stronghold.
We will singfor joyover your victory,And in the nameof our Godwe will setup our banners.May the LORDfulfillallyour petitions.
You have givenhim his heart'sdesire,And You have not withheldthe requestof his lips.Selah.
And my soulshall rejoicein the LORD;It shall exultin His salvation.
O Lord,openmy lips,That my mouthmay declareYour praise.
My mouthis filledwith Your praiseAnd with Your gloryalldaylong.
And allthe hornsof the wickedHe will cutoff,[But] the hornsof the righteouswill be liftedup.
For You are the gloryof their strength,And by Your favorour hornis exalted.
For our shieldbelongs to the LORD,And our kingto the HolyOneof Israel.

But You have exaltedmy hornlike [that of] the wildox;I have been anointedwith freshoil.

for we are the [true] circumcision,who worshipin the Spiritof Godand gloryin ChristJesusand putnoconfidencein the flesh,
Rejoicein the Lordalways;againI will say,rejoice!
Be anxiousfor nothing,but in everythingby prayerand supplicationwith thanksgivinglet your requestsbe made knownto God.
and though you have not seenHim, you loveHim, and though you do not seeHim now,but believein Him, you greatly rejoicewith joyinexpressibleand full of glory,
"Rejoiceoverher, O heaven,and you saintsand apostlesand prophets,becauseGodhas pronouncedjudgmentfor you againsther."
Her rival,however, would provokeher bitterlyto irritateher, becausethe LORDhad closedher womb.
It happenedyearafter year,as oftenas she wentup to the houseof the LORD,she would provokeher; so she weptand would not eat.
