So she wentand didaccording to the wordof Elijah,and she and he and her householdatefor [many] days.
So Abramwentforth as the LORDhad spokento him; and Lotwentwith him. Now Abramwas seventy-fiveyearsoldwhen he departedfrom Haran.
So Abrahamroseearlyin the morningand saddledhis donkey,and tooktwoof his youngmenwith him and Isaachis son;and he splitwoodfor the burntoffering,and aroseand wentto the placeof whichGodhad toldhim.
Thus Noahdid;according to allthat Godhad commandedhim, sohe did.
"For thussaysthe LORDGodof Israel,The bowlof flourshall not be exhausted,norshall the jarof oilbe empty,untilthe daythat the LORDsendsrainon the faceof the earth.'"
The bowlof flourwas not exhaustednordid the jarof oilbecomeempty,according to the wordof the LORDwhichHe spokethroughElijah.
So she wentfrom him and shutthe doorbehindher and her sons;they were bringing[the vessels] to her and she poured.
They roseearlyin the morningand wentout to the wildernessof Tekoa;and when they wentout, Jehoshaphatstoodand said,"Listento me, O Judahand inhabitantsof Jerusalem,putyour trustin the LORDyour Godand you will be established.Putyour trustin His prophetsand succeed."
ThenJesussaidto her, "Owoman,your faithis great;it shall be donefor you as you wish."And her daughterwas healedat once.
CallingHis disciplesto Him, He saidto them, "TrulyI sayto you, thispoorwidowputin morethan allthe contributorsto the treasury;
Jesussaid to her, "Did I not sayto you that ifyou believe,you will seethe gloryof God?"
By faithAbraham,when he was tested,offeredup Isaac,and he who had receivedthe promiseswas offeringup his only begotten[son];
