Ordo you not knowthat the unrighteouswill not inheritthe kingdomof God?Do not be deceived;neitherfornicators,noridolaters,noradulterers,noreffeminate,norhomosexuals,
and they calledto Lotand saidto him, "Whereare the menwhocameto you tonight?Bringthem out to us that we may haverelationswith them."
"You shall not beara false report;do not joinyour handwith a wickedmanto be a maliciouswitness.
A false balanceis an abominationto the LORD,But a justweightis His delight.
He who sowsiniquitywill reapvanity,And the rodof his furywill perish.
Her houseis the wayto Sheol,Descendingto the chambersof death.
Let the wickedforsakehis wayAnd the unrighteousmanhis thoughts;And let him returnto the LORD,And He will havecompassionon him, And to our God,For He will abundantlypardon.
(though he himselfdid not doanyof thesethings),that is, he eveneatsat the mountain[shrines], and defileshis neighbor'swife,
You shall not haveintercoursewith your neighbor'swife,to be defiledwith her.
You shall not liewith a maleas one lieswith a female;it is an abomination.
You shall donoinjusticein judgment;you shall not be partialto the poornordeferto the great,but you are to judgeyour neighborfairly.
If [there is] a manwholieswith a maleas those who liewith a woman,bothof them have committeda detestableact;they shall surelybe putto death.Their bloodguiltinessis upon them.
Then he saidto me, "Thisis the cursethat is goingforthoverthe faceof the wholeland;surelyeveryonewho stealswill be purgedaway according to the writing on oneside,and everyonewho swearswill be purgedaway according to the writing on the other side.
"And everyonewhohas lefthousesorbrothersorsistersorfatherormotherorchildrenorfarmsfor My name'ssake,will receivemany times as much,and will inheriteternallife.
"Thenthe Kingwill sayto thoseon His right,'Come,you who are blessedof My Father,inheritthe kingdompreparedfor you from the foundationof the world.
And He said,"Seeto it that you are not misled;for manywill comein My name,saying,I am[He],' and, 'The timeis near.'Do not goafterthem.
"And nowI commendyou to Godand to the wordof His grace,which is ableto build[you] up and to give[you] the inheritanceamongallthosewho are sanctified.
But as he was discussingrighteousness,self-controland the judgmentto come,Felixbecamefrightenedand said,"Go awayfor the present,and when I findtimeI will summonyou."
For the wrathof Godis revealedfrom heavenagainstallungodlinessand unrighteousnessof menwho suppressthe truthin unrighteousness,
Do not be deceived:"Badcompanycorruptsgoodmorals."
NowI saythis,brethren,that fleshand bloodcannotinheritthe kingdomof God;nordoes the perishableinheritthe imperishable.
Do you not knowthat you are a templeof Godand [that] the Spiritof Goddwellsin you?
It is actuallyreportedthat there is immoralityamongyou, and immoralityof such a kindas does not exist evenamongthe Gentiles,that someonehashis father'swife.
I [did] not at all[mean] with the immoral peopleof thisworld,orwith the covetousand swindlers,orwith idolaters,for thenyou would haveto goout of the world.
But actually,I wroteto you not to associatewith anyso-calledbrotherifhe is an immoral person,orcovetous,oran idolater,ora reviler,ora drunkard,ora swindler--not evento eatwith such a one.
northieves,nor[the] covetous,nordrunkards,norrevilers,norswindlers,will inheritthe kingdomof God.
Fleeimmorality.Every[other] sinthat a mancommitsis outsidethe body,but the immoralman sinsagainsthis ownbody.
Ordo you not knowthat your bodyis a templeof the HolySpiritwho is in you, whomyou havefrom God,and that you are not your own?
Do you not knowthat thosewho runin a raceallrun,but [only] onereceivesthe prize?Runin such a waythat you may win.
I am afraid that when I comeagainmy Godmay humiliateme beforeyou, and I may mournover manyof thosewho have sinned in the pastand not repentedof the impurity,immoralityand sensualitywhichthey have practiced.
Do not be deceived,Godis not mocked;for whatevera mansows,thishe will alsoreap.
"Ifa manis foundlyingwith a marriedwoman,then bothof them shall die,the manwho laywith the woman,and the woman;thus you shall purgethe evilfrom Israel.
"A womanshall not wearman'sclothing,norshall a manputon a woman'sclothing;for whoeverdoesthesethingsis an abominationto the LORDyour God.
"Noneof the daughtersof Israelshall be a cultprostitute,norshall anyof the sonsof Israelbe a cultprostitute.
Thereforeconsiderthe membersof your earthlybody as deadto immorality,impurity,passion,evildesire,and greed,whichamountsto idolatry.
Pursuepeacewith all men,and the sanctificationwithoutwhichno onewill seethe Lord.
that [there be] noimmoralorgodless personlikeEsau,whosoldhis ownbirthrightfor a [single] meal.
Marriage[is to be held] in honoramongall,and the [marriage] bed[is to be] undefiled;for fornicatorsand adulterersGodwill judge.
Do not be deceived,my belovedbrethren.
Little children,make sure no onedeceivesyou; the one who practicesrighteousnessis righteous,justas He is righteous;
"But for the cowardlyand unbelievingand abominableand murderersand immoral personsand sorcerersand idolatersand allliars,their part[will be] in the lakethat burnswith fireand brimstone,whichis the seconddeath."
Outsideare the dogsand the sorcerersand the immoral personsand the murderersand the idolaters,and everyonewho lovesand practiceslying.
While they were celebrating,behold,the menof the city,certainworthlessfellows,surroundedthe house,poundingthe door;and they spoketo the ownerof the house,the oldman,saying,"Bringout the manwhocameinto your housethat we may haverelationswith him."
