Norgrumble,as someof them did,and were destroyedby the destroyer.
When the angelstretchedout his handtoward Jerusalemto destroyit, the LORDrelentedfrom the calamityand saidto the angelwho destroyedthe people,"It is enough!Nowrelaxyour hand!"And the angelof the LORDwas by the threshingfloorof Araunahthe Jebusite.
And Godsentan angelto Jerusalemto destroyit; but as he was about to destroy[it], the LORDsawand was sorryoverthe calamity,and saidto the destroyingangel,"It is enough;nowrelaxyour hand."And the angelof the LORDwas standingby the threshingfloorof Ornanthe Jebusite.
And the LORDsentan angelwho destroyedeverymightywarrior,commanderand officerin the campof the kingof Assyria.So he returnedin shameto his own land.And when he had enteredthe templeof his god,someof his ownchildrenkilledhim therewith the sword.
But grumbledin their tents;They did not listento the voiceof the LORD.
"For the LORDwill passthroughto smitethe Egyptians;and when He seesthe bloodon the linteland on the twodoorposts,the LORDwill passoverthe doorand will not allowthe destroyerto comein to your housesto smite[you].
So the peoplegrumbledat Moses,saying,"Whatshall we drink?"
Allthe sonsof IsraelgrumbledagainstMosesand Aaron;and the wholecongregationsaidto them, "Wouldthat we had diedin the landof Egypt!Orwouldthat we had diedin thiswilderness!
even those menwho broughtout the very badreportof the landdiedby a plaguebeforethe LORD.
"Thereforeyou and allyour companyare gatheredtogether againstthe LORD;but as for Aaron,whois he that you grumbleagainsthim?"
But on the nextdayallthe congregationof the sonsof IsraelgrumbledagainstMosesand Aaron,saying,"You are the ones who have causedthe deathof the LORD'Speople."
But the LORDsaidto Moses,"Putbackthe rodof Aaronbeforethe testimonyto be keptas a signagainst the rebels,that you may putan endto their grumblingsagainstMe, so that they will not die."
"It will comeabout that the rodof the manwhomI choosewill sprout.Thus I will lessenfrom upon Myself the grumblingsof the sonsof Israel,whoare grumblingagainstyou."
And immediatelyan angelof the Lordstruckhim becausehe did not giveGodthe glory,and he was eaten by wormsand died.
Doall thingswithoutgrumblingordisputing;
By faithhe keptthe Passoverand the sprinklingof the blood,sothat he who destroyedthe firstbornwould not touchthem.
Theseare grumblers,finding fault,followingaftertheir [own] lusts;they speakarrogantly,flatteringpeoplefor the sakeof [gaining an] advantage.
ThenI hearda loudvoicefrom the temple,sayingto the sevenangels,"Goand pourout on the earththe sevenbowlsof the wrathof God."
