“But he has not invited me, me your servant, nor Tsaḏoq the priest, nor Benayahu son of Yehoyaḏa, nor your servant Shelomoh.

“But he has not invited me, me your servant, nor Tsaḏoq the priest, nor Benayahu son of Yehoyaḏa, nor your servant Shelomoh.
And the sovereign said to them, “Take with you the servants of your master, and you shall have Shelomoh my son ride on my own mule, and take him down to Giḥon.
Then Tsaḏoq the priest, and Nathan the prophet, and Benayahu son of Yehoyaḏa, and the Kerĕthites, and the Pelĕthites went down and had Shelomoh ride on Sovereign Dawiḏ’s mule, and took him to Giḥon.
So Shelomoh dismissed Eḇyathar from being priest to יהוה, to fill the word of יהוה which He spoke concerning the house of Ěli at Shiloh.
and Benayahu son of Yehoyaḏa, over the army; and Tsaḏoq and Eḇyathar, the priests;
And Dawiḏ called for Tsaḏoq and Eḇyathar the priests, and for the Lĕwites, for Uri’ĕl, Asayah, and Yo’ĕl, Shemayah, and Eli’ĕl, and Amminaḏaḇ,
And Dawiḏ, with Tsaḏoq of the sons of El‛azar, and Aḥimeleḵ of the sons of Ithamar, divided them according to their offices in their service.
The third commander of the army for the third new moon was Benayahu, son of Yehoyaḏa the priest, who was chief, and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
And they ate and drank before יהוה with great joy on that day. And they set up Shelomoh son of Dawiḏ to reign the second time, and anointed him before יהוה to be leader, and Tsaḏoq to be priest.
He breaks in pieces the mighty, without inquiry, and puts others in their place.
“And the room facing north is for the priests who guard the duty of the slaughter-place, they are the sons of Tsaḏoq, from the sons of Lĕwi, who come near יהוה to serve Him.”
And you shall give a young bull for a sin offering to the priests, the Lĕwites, who are of the seed of Tsaḏoq, who approach unto Me,’ declares the Master יהוה.
“For it has been written in the Book of Tehillim, ‘Let his dwelling lie waste, and let no one live in it,’ and, ‘Let another take his office.’
And I shall raise up for Myself a trustworthy priest who does according to what is in My heart and in My being. And I shall build him a steadfast house, and he shall walk before My anointed forever.
