But he answered him: I will not go with thee, but I will return to my country, wherein I was born.


And he said: Of strangers. Jesus said to him: Then the children are free.


THE kingdom of heaven is like to an householder, who went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard.


And answering Jesus, they said: We know not. He also said to them: Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.


And he answering, said: I will not. But afterwards, being moved with repentance, he went.


Hear ye another parable. There was a man an householder, who planted a vineyard, and made a hedge round about it, and dug in it a press, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen; and went into a strange country.


Tell us therefore what dost thou think, is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?


Even as a man who going into a far country, left his house; and gave authority to his servants over every work, and commanded the porter to watch.


Or those eighteen upon whom the tower fell in Siloe, and slew them: think you, that they also were debtors above all the men that dwelt in Jerusalem?


I speak as to wise men: judge ye yourselves what I say.


Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast and unmoveable; always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
