When my spirit faints within me, you know my way! In the path where I walk they have hidden a trap for me.
For without cause they hid their net for me; without cause they dug a pit for my life.
Let not the foot of arrogance come upon me, nor the hand of the wicked drive me away.
Vindicate me, O God, and defend my cause against an ungodly people, from the deceitful and unjust man deliver me!
