And Josaphat said: Is there not here a prophet of the Lord, that we may beseech the Lord by him? And one of the servants of the king of Israel answered: Here is Eliseus the son of Saphat, who poured water on the hands of Elias.


And all the assembly of them that were returned from the captivity made tabernacles, and dwelt in tabernacles. For since the days of Josue the son of Nun the children of Israel had not done so, until that day. And there was exceeding great joy.


Moses rose up, and his minister Josue: and Moses going up into the mount of God,


Forthwith Josue the son of Nun, the minister of Moses, and chosen out of many, said: My lord Moses, forbid them.


But it is not so with my servant Moses who is most faithful in all my house.


Of the tribe of Gad, Guel the son of Machi.


Of the tribe of Issachar, Igal the son of Joseph.


He that is faithful in that which is least, is faithful also in that which is greater: and he that is unjust in that which is little, is unjust also in that which is greater.


Which also our fathers receiving, brought in with Jesus, into the possession of the Gentiles, whom God drove out before the face of our fathers, unto the days of David.


PAUL, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,


But Josue the son of Nun, thy minister, he shall go in for thee. Exhort and encourage him, and he shall divide the land by lot to Israel.


And the Lord commanded Josue the son of Nun, and said: Take courage, and be valiant: for thou shalt bring the children of Israel into the land which I have promised, and I will be with thee.


The Lord thy God then will pass over before thee: he will destroy all these nations in thy sight, and thou shalt possess them. And this Josue shall go over before thee, as the Lord hath spoken.


This is the blessing, wherewith the man of God Moses blessed the children of Israel, before his death.


And all the mighty hand, and great miracles, which Moses did before all Israel.


And Moses the servant of the Lord died there, in the land of Moab, by the commandment of the Lord.


And Josue the son of Nun was filled with the spirit of wisdom, because Moses had laid his hands upon him. And the children of Israel obeyed him, and did as the Lord commanded Moses.


Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of the elect of God and the acknowledging of the truth, which is according to godliness:


James the servant of God, and of our Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.


Until the Lord give rest to your brethren as he hath given you, and they also possess the land which the Lord your God will give them. And so you shall return the land of your possession, and you shall dwell in it, which Moses the servant of the Lord gave you beyond the Jordan, toward the rising of the sun.


Moses my servant is dead. Arise, and pass over this Jordan, thou and thy people with thee, into the land which I will give to the children of Israel.


Moses the servant of the Lord, and the children of Israel slew them, and Moses delivered their land in possession to the Rubenites, and Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasses.


And alive, and was dead, and behold I am living for ever and ever, and have the keys of death and of hell.
