For thus saith the Lord: Behold, I will deliver thee up to fear, thee and all thy friends. And they shall fall by the sword of their enemies, and thy eyes shall see it. And I will give all Juda into the hand of the king of Babylonand he shall carry them away to Babylon and he shall strike them with the sword.
And thou shalt not escape out of his hand, but thou shalt surely be taken: and thou shalt be delivered into his hand. And thy eyes shall see the eyes of the king of Babylon, and his mouth shall speak with thy mouth, and thou shalt go to Babylon.

And he put out the eyes of Sedecias and bound him with fetters. And the king of Babylon brought him into Babylon: and he put him in prison till the day of his death.
And I will spread my net over him, and he shall be taken in my net: and I will bring him into Babylon, into the land of the Chaldeans. And he shall not see it: and there he shall die.
Then the Philistines seized upon him, and forthwith pulled out his eyes; and led him bound in chains to Gaza; and shutting him up in prison made him grind.
