And the king said to Amasa: Assemble to me all the men of Juda against the third day. And be thou here present.
Thou wilt save me from the contradictions of my people; thou wilt keep me to be the head of the Gentiles: the people which I know not shall serve me,
So do God to Abner, and more also, unless as the Lord hath sworn to David, so I do to him,
Then all the tribes of Israel came to David in Hebron, saying: Behold, we are thy bone and thy flesh.
