And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall escape the sword of Hazael shall be slain by Jehu: and whosoever shall escape the sword of Jehu shall be slain by Eliseus.
And he said to him: Come with me, and see my zeal for the Lord. So he made him ride in his chariot,
And he sent a second chariot of horses. And he came to them, and said: Thus saith the king: Is there peace? And Jehu said: What hast thou to do with peace? Pass, and follow me.
And when thou art come thither, thou shalt see Jehu the son of Josaphat the son of Namsi. And going in thou shalt make him rise up from amongst his brethren, and carry him into an inner chamber.
Whatsoever thy hand is able to do, do it earnestly: for neither work, nor reason, nor wisdom, nor knowledge shall be in hell, whither thou art hastening.
Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire and bringeth forth an instrument for his work: and I have created the killer to destroy.
For behold, I will raise up the Chaldeans, a bitter and swift nation, marching upon the breadth of the earth, to possess the dwelling places that are not their own.
In thy anger thou wilt tread the earth under foot: in thy wrath thou wilt astonish the nations.
