The Lord is the portion of my inheritance and of my cup: it is thou that wilt restore my inheritance to me.
And provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, in whom there is truth, and that hate avarice: and appoint of them rulers of thousands, and of hundreds, and of fifties, and of tens,
Neither shalt thou take bribes, which even blind the wise, and pervert the words of the just.
Whom I know not whether he will be a wise man or a fool, and he shall have rule over all my labours with which I have laboured and been solicitous: and is there any thing so vain?
