He was a mighty hunter before YHWH. Therefore it is said, “Like Nimrod, a mighty hunter before YHWH”.


Now the men of Sodom were exceedingly wicked and sinners against YHWH.


Noah became the father of three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth.


YHWH said to Noah, “Come with all of your household into the ark, for I have seen your righteousness before me in this generation.


because your heart was tender, and you humbled yourself before God when you heard ʜɪꜱ words against this place and against its inhabitants, and have humbled yourself before me, and have torn your clothes and wept before me, I also have heard you,” says YHWH.


YHWH examines the righteous, but ʜɪꜱ soul hates the wicked and the one who loves violence.


An evil speaker won’t be established in the earth. Evil will hunt the violent man to overthrow him.


Confuse them, Lord, and confound their language, for I have seen violence and strife in the city.


YHWH spoke to Moses, “You must go down quickly! For your people, whom you brought up out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves!


Violence will no longer be heard in your land, nor desolation or destruction within your borders; but you will call your walls Salvation, and your gates Praise.


As a well produces its waters, so she produces her wickedness. Violence and destruction is heard in her. Sickness and wounds are continually before me.


By the abundance of your commerce, your insides were filled with violence, and you have sinned. Therefore I have cast you as profane out of God’s mountain. I have destroyed you, covering cherub, from the middle of the stones of fire.


Then he said to me, “Do you see this, son of humanity? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? For they have filled the land with violence, and have turned again to provoke me to anger. Look at them putting the branch to their nose.


YHWH, how long will I cry, and you will not hear? I cry out to you “Violence!” and will you not save?


For the violence done to Lebanon will overwhelm you, and the destruction of the animals will terrify you. For you have shed human blood and done the violence done to the land, to every city and those who dwell in them.


Because you have plundered many nations, all the remnant of the peoples will plunder you because of human blood. For you have done violence to the land, to the city and to all who dwell in it.


They were both righteous before God, walking blamelessly in all the commands and decrees of the Lord.


For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law will be declared righteous.


Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those under the law, so that every mouth may be closed, and all the world would become accountable to God.


For I know that after my death y’all will become corrupt-corrupt, and turn away from the way which I have commanded y’all. In the latter days, disaster will fall on y’all because y’all will do that which is evil in YHWH’s sight, to provoke him to anger through the work of y’all’s hands.”


But when the judge was dead, they turned back, and dealt more corruptly than their fathers in following other gods to serve them and to bow down to them. They didn’t cease what they were doing, or give up their stubborn ways.
