YHWH said, “Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous,


I will go down now, and see whether their deeds are as bad as the reports which have come to me. If not, I will know.”


God said to Noah, “I will bring an end to all flesh, for the earth is filled with violence through them. Watch, I will destroy them and the earth.


But Noah found favor in YHWH’s eyes.


YHWH said to Noah, “Come with all of your household into the ark, for I have seen your righteousness before me in this generation.


All flesh died that moved on the earth, including birds, livestock, animals, every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, and every human.


God said, “This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and y’all and every living creature that is with y’all, for all subsequent generations:


He sings before men, and says, ‘I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it didn’t profit me.


YHWH’s eyes are everywhere, keeping watch on the evil and the good.


And all humanity will see God’s salvation.’”


and if ʜᴇ didn’t spare the ancient world, but preserved only eight people including Noah, a herald of righteousness, when ʜᴇ brought a flood on the ungodly world;
