H3130And JosephH6680commanded[H8762] H5650his servantsH7495the physicians[H8802] H2590to embalm[H8800] H1his fatherH7495: and the physicians[H8802] H2590embalmed[H8799] H3478Israel.

H705And fortyH3117daysH4390were fulfilled[H8799] H4390for him; for so are fulfilled[H8799] H3117the daysH2590of those which are embalmed[H8803] H4714: and the EgyptiansH1058mourned[H8799] H7657for him threescore and tenH3117days.

H1My fatherH7650made me swear[H8689] H559, saying[H8800] H2009, LoH4191, I die[H8801] H6913: in my graveH3738which I have digged[H8804] H776for me in the landH3667of CanaanH6912, there shalt thou bury me[H8799] H5927. Now therefore let me go up[H8799] H6912, I pray thee, and bury[H8799] H1my fatherH7725, and I will come again[H8799] .

H6547And PharaohH559said[H8799] H5927, Go up[H8798] H6912, and bury[H8798] H1thy fatherH7650, according as he made thee swear[H8689] .

H3130And JosephH5927went up[H8799] H6912to bury[H8800] H1his fatherH5927: and with him went up[H8799] H5650all the servantsH6547of PharaohH2205, the eldersH1004of his houseH2205, and all the eldersH776of the landH4714of Egypt,

H1004And all the houseH3130of JosephH251, and his brethrenH1, and his father'sH1004houseH2945: only their little onesH6629, and their flocksH1241, and their herdsH5800, they left[H8804] H776in the landH1657of Goshen.

H3427And when the inhabitants[H8802] H776of the landH3669, the CanaanitesH7200, saw[H8799] H60the mourningH1637in the floorH329of AtadH559, they said[H8799] H3515, This is a grievousH60mourningH4714to the EgyptiansH8034: wherefore the name of itH7121was called[H8804] H67AbelmizraimH5676, which is beyondH3383Jordan.

H1121And his sonsH6213did[H8799] H6680unto him according as he commanded[H8765]  them:

H1121For his sonsH5375carried[H8799] H776him into the landH3667of CanaanH6912, and buried[H8799] H4631him in the caveH7704of the fieldH4375of MachpelahH85, which AbrahamH7069bought[H8804] H7704with the fieldH272for a possessionH6913of a buryingplaceH6085of EphronH2850the HittiteH6440, beforeH4471Mamre.

H3130And when Joseph'sH251brethrenH7200saw[H8799] H1that their fatherH4191was dead[H8804] H559, they said[H8799] H3130, JosephH3863will peradventureH7852hate us[H8799] H7725, and will certainly[H8687] H7725requite[H8686] H7451us all the evilH1580which we did[H8804]  unto him.

H6680And they sent a messenger[H8762] H3130unto JosephH559, saying[H8800] H1, Thy fatherH6680did command[H8765] H6440beforeH4194he diedH559, saying[H8800] ,

H3130And JosephH559said[H8799] H3372unto them, Fear[H8799] H430not: for am I in the place of God?

H2803But as for you, ye thought[H8804] H7451evilH430against me; but GodH2803meant it[H8804] H2896unto goodH4616, toH6213bring to pass[H8800] H3117, as it is this dayH2421, to saveH7227muchH5971peopleH2421alive[H8687] .

H3372Now therefore fear[H8799] H3557ye not: I will nourish[H8770] H2945you, and your little onesH5162. And he comforted[H8762] H1696them, and spake[H8762] H3820kindly unto them.

H3130And JosephH559said[H8799] H251unto his brethrenH4191, I die[H8801] H430: and GodH6485will surely[H8800] H6485visit[H8799] H5927you, and bring you out[H8689] H776of this landH776unto the landH7650which he sware[H8738] H85to AbrahamH3327, to IsaacH3290, and to Jacob.
