² H85And AbrahamH559said[H8799] H413ofH8283SarahH802his wifeH269, She is my sisterH40: and AbimelechH4428kingH1642of GerarH7971sent[H8799] H3947, and took[H8799] H8283Sarah.

³ H430But GodH935came[H8799] H40to AbimelechH2472in a dreamH3915by nightH559, and said[H8799] H4191to him, Behold, thou art but a dead man[H8801] H802, for the womanH3947which thou hast taken[H8804] H1167; for she is a man'sH1166wife[H8803] .

⁴ H40But AbimelechH7126had not come near[H8804] H559her: and he said[H8799] H136, LordH2026, wilt thou slay[H8799] H6662also a righteousH1471nation?

⁵ H559Said[H8804] H1931he not unto me, SheH269is my sisterH1931? and sheH1571, evenH1931sheH559herself said[H8804] H251, He is my brotherH8537: in the integrityH3824of my heartH5356and innocencyH3709of my handsH6213have I done[H8804]  this.

⁶ H430And GodH559said[H8799] H2472unto him in a dreamH1571, YeaH3045, I know[H8804] H6213that thou didst[H8804] H8537this in the integrityH3824of thy heartH2820; for I also withheld[H8799] H2398thee from sinning[H8800] H5414against me: therefore suffered[H8804] H5060I thee not to touch[H8800]  her.

⁸ H40Therefore AbimelechH7925rose early[H8686] H1242in the morningH7121, and called[H8799] H5650all his servantsH1696, and told[H8762] H1697all these thingsH241in their earsH582: and the menH3966were soreH3372afraid[H8799] .

⁹ H40Then AbimelechH7121called[H8799] H85AbrahamH559, and said[H8799] H6213unto him, What hast thou done[H8804] H2398unto us? and what have I offended[H8804] H935thee, that thou hast brought[H8689] H4467on me and on my kingdomH1419a greatH2401sinH6213? thou hast done[H8804] H4639deedsH6213unto me that ought not to be done[H8735] .

¹⁰ H40And AbimelechH559said[H8799] H85unto AbrahamH4100, WhatH7200sawest thou[H8804] H6213, that thou hast done[H8804] H1697this thing?

¹¹ H85And AbrahamH559said[H8799] H559, Because I thought[H8804] H7535, SurelyH3374the fearH430of GodH4725is not in this placeH2026; and they will slay me[H8804] H802for my wife'sH1697sake.

¹² H546And yet indeedH269she is my sisterH1323; she is the daughterH1of my fatherH1323, but not the daughterH517of my motherH802; and she became my wife.

¹³ H430And it came to pass, when GodH8582caused me to wander[H8689] H1from my father'sH1004houseH559, that I said[H8799] H2617unto her, This is thy kindnessH6213which thou shalt shew[H8799] H4725unto me; at every placeH935whither we shall come[H8799] H559, say[H8798] H251of me, He is my brother.

¹⁴ H40And AbimelechH3947took[H8799] H6629sheepH1241, and oxenH5650, and menservantsH8198, and womenservantsH5414, and gave[H8799] H85them unto AbrahamH7725, and restored[H8686] H8283him SarahH802his wife.

¹⁵ H40And AbimelechH559said[H8799] H776, Behold, my landH6440is before theeH3427: dwell[H8798] H2896where it pleasethH5869  thee.

¹⁶ H8283And unto SarahH559he said[H8804] H5414, Behold, I have given[H8804] H251thy brotherH505a thousandH3701pieces of silverH3682: behold, he is to thee a coveringH5869of the eyesH3198, unto all that are with thee, and with all other : thus she was reproved[H8737] .

¹⁷ H85So AbrahamH6419prayed[H8691] H430unto GodH430: and GodH7495healed[H8799] H40AbimelechH802, and his wifeH519, and his maidservantsH3205; and they bare[H8799]  children .

¹⁸ H3068For the LORDH6113had fast[H8800] H6113closed up[H8804] H7358all the wombsH1004of the houseH40of AbimelechH1697, becauseH8283of SarahH85Abraham'sH802wife.
