¹ H87And when AbramH8673was ninetyH8141 H8141yearsH1121oldH8672and nineH3068, the LORDH7200appeared[H8735] H87to AbramH559, and said[H8799] H7706unto him, I am the AlmightyH410GodH1980; walk[H8690] H6440before meH8549, and be thou perfect.

² H5414And I will make[H8799] H1285my covenantH7235between me and thee, and will multiply[H8686] H3966thee exceedinglyH3966 .

³ H87And AbramH5307fell[H8799] H6440on his faceH430: and GodH1696talked[H8762] H559with him, saying[H8800] ,

⁴ H589As for meH1285, behold, my covenantH1is with thee, and thou shalt be a fatherH1995of manyH1471nations.

⁵ H8034Neither shall thy nameH7121any more be called[H8735] H87AbramH8034, but thy nameH85shall be AbrahamH1; for a fatherH1995of manyH1471nationsH5414have I made thee[H8804] .

⁶ H6509And I will makeH3966thee exceedingH3966 H6509fruitful[H8689] H5414, and I will make[H8804] H1471nationsH4428of thee, and kingsH3318shall come out[H8799]  of thee.

⁷ H6965And I will establish[H8689] H1285my covenantH2233between me and thee and thy seedH310after theeH1755in their generationsH5769for an everlastingH1285covenantH430, to be a GodH2233unto thee, and to thy seedH310after thee.

⁸ H5414And I will give[H8804] H2233unto thee, and to thy seedH310after theeH776, the landH4033wherein thou art a strangerH776, all the landH3667of CanaanH5769, for an everlastingH272possessionH430; and I will be their God.

⁹ H430And GodH559said[H8799] H85unto AbrahamH8104, Thou shalt keep[H8799] H1285my covenantH2233therefore, thou, and thy seedH310after theeH1755in their generations.

¹⁰ H1285This is my covenantH8104, which ye shall keep[H8799] H2233, between me and you and thy seedH310after theeH2145; Every man childH4135among you shall be circumcised[H8736] .

¹¹ H5243And ye shall circumcise[H8804] H1320the fleshH6190of your foreskinH226; and it shall be a tokenH1285of the covenant betwixt me and you.

¹² H8083And he that is eightH3117daysH1121oldH4135shall be circumcised[H8735] H2145among you, every man childH1755in your generationsH3211, he that is bornH1004in the houseH4736, or boughtH3701with moneyH1121of any strangerH5236 H2233, which is not of thy seed.

¹³ H3211He that is bornH1004in thy houseH4736, and he that is boughtH3701with thy moneyH4135, must needs[H8736] H4135be circumcised[H8735] H1285: and my covenantH1320shall be in your fleshH5769for an everlastingH1285covenant.

¹⁴ H6189And the uncircumcisedH2145man childH834whoseH1320fleshH6190of his foreskinH4135is not circumcised[H8735] H5315, that soulH3772shall be cut off[H8738] H5971from his peopleH6565; he hath broken[H8689] H1285my covenant.

¹⁵ H430And GodH559said[H8799] H85unto AbrahamH8297, As for SaraiH802thy wifeH7121, thou shalt not call[H8799] H8034her nameH8297SaraiH3588, butH8283SarahH8034shall her name be .

¹⁶ H1288And I will bless[H8765] H5414her, and give[H8804] H1121thee a sonH1288also of her: yea, I will bless[H8765] H1471her, and she shall be a mother of nationsH4428; kingsH5971of people shall be of her.

¹⁷ H85Then AbrahamH5307fell[H8799] H6440upon his faceH6711, and laughed[H8799] H559, and said[H8799] H3820in his heartH3205, Shall a child be born[H8735] H3967unto him that is an hundredH8141yearsH1121oldH8283? and shall SarahH8673, that is ninetyH8141yearsH1323oldH3205, bear[H8799] ?

¹⁸ H85And AbrahamH559said[H8799] H430unto GodH3863, O thatH3458IshmaelH2421might live[H8799] H6440before thee!

¹⁹ H430And GodH559said[H8799] H8283, SarahH802thy wifeH3205shall bear[H8802] H1121thee a sonH61indeedH7121; and thou shalt call[H8804] H8034his nameH3327IsaacH6965: and I will establish[H8689] H1285my covenantH5769with him for an everlastingH1285covenantH2233, and with his seedH310after him.

²⁰ H3458And as for IshmaelH8085, I have heard thee[H8804] H1288: Behold, I have blessed[H8765] H6509him, and will make him fruitful[H8689] H7235, and will multiply[H8689] H3966him exceedinglyH3966 H6240; twelveH8147 H5387princesH3205shall he beget[H8686] H5414, and I will make him[H8804] H1419a greatH1471nation.

²¹ H1285But my covenantH6965will I establish[H8686] H3327with IsaacH8283, which SarahH3205shall bear[H8799] H4150unto thee at this set timeH312in the nextH8141year.

²² H3615And he left off[H8762] H1696talking[H8763] H430with him, and GodH5927went up[H8799] H85from Abraham.

²³ H85And AbrahamH3947took[H8799] H3458IshmaelH1121his sonH3211, and all that were bornH1004in his houseH4736, and all that were boughtH3701with his moneyH2145, every maleH582among the menH85of Abraham'sH1004houseH4135; and circumcised[H8799] H1320the fleshH6190of their foreskinH6106in the selfsameH3117dayH430, as GodH1696had said[H8765]  unto him.

²⁴ H85And AbrahamH8673was ninetyH8141yearsH1121oldH8672and nineH4135, when he was circumcised[H8736] H1320in the fleshH6190of his foreskin.

²⁵ H3458And IshmaelH1121his sonH6240was thirteenH7969 H8141yearsH1121oldH4135, when he was circumcised[H8736] H1320in the fleshH6190of his foreskin.

²⁶ H6106In the selfsameH3117dayH85was AbrahamH4135circumcised[H8738] H3458, and IshmaelH1121his son.

²⁷ H582And all the menH1004of his houseH3211, bornH1004in the houseH4736, and boughtH3701with moneyH1121of the strangerH5236 H4135, were circumcised[H8738]  with him.
