³ H1288And I will bless[H8762] H1288them that bless[H8764] H779thee, and curse[H8799] H7043him that curseth[H8764] H4940thee: and in thee shall all familiesH127of the earthH1288be blessed[H8738] .

⁴ H87So AbramH3212departed[H8799] H3068, as the LORDH1696had spoken[H8765] H3876unto him; and LotH3212went[H8799] H87with him: and AbramH7657was seventyH8141 H2568and fiveH8141yearsH1121oldH3318when he departed[H8800] H2771out of Haran.

⁵ H87And AbramH3947took[H8799] H8297SaraiH802his wifeH3876, and LotH251his brother'sH1121sonH7399, and all their substanceH7408that they had gathered[H8804] H5315, and the soulsH6213that they had gotten[H8804] H2771in HaranH3318; and they went forth[H8799] H3212to go[H8800] H776into the landH3667of CanaanH776; and into the landH3667of CanaanH935they came[H8799] .

⁶ H87And AbramH5674passed through[H8799] H776the landH4725unto the placeH7927of SichemH436, unto the plainH4176of MorehH3669. And the CanaaniteH227was thenH776in the land.

⁷ H3068And the LORDH7200appeared[H8735] H87unto AbramH559, and said[H8799] H2233, Unto thy seedH5414will I give[H8799] H2063thisH776landH1129: and there builded[H8799] H4196he an altarH3068unto the LORDH7200, who appeared[H8737]  unto him.

¹² H4713Therefore it shall come to pass, when the EgyptiansH7200shall see[H8799] H559thee, that they shall say[H8804] H802, This is his wifeH2026: and they will kill[H8804] H2421me, but they will save thee alive[H8762] .

¹³ H559Say[H8798] H4994, I pray theeH269, thou art my sisterH4616: thatH3190it may be well[H8799] H5315with me for thy sake; and my soulH2421shall live[H8804] H1558because of thee.

¹⁴ H87And it came to pass, that, when AbramH935was come[H8800] H4714into EgyptH4713, the EgyptiansH7200beheld[H8799] H802the womanH3966that she was veryH3303fair.

¹⁸ H6547And PharaohH7121called[H8799] H87AbramH559, and said[H8799] H6213, What is this that thou hast done[H8804] H5046unto me? why didst thou not tell[H8689] H802me that she was thy wife?

¹⁹ H559Why saidst thou[H8804] H269, She is my sisterH3947? so I might have taken[H8799] H802her to me to wifeH802: now therefore behold thy wifeH3947, take[H8798] H3212her, and go thy way[H8798] .

²⁰ H6547And PharaohH6680commanded[H8762] H582his menH7971concerning him: and they sent him away[H8762] H802, and his wife, and all that he had.
