2 Kings 21 - King James Bible with Strong Numbers

1 H4519ManassehH8147was twelveH6240 H8141yearsH1121oldH4427when he began to reign[H8800] H4427, and reigned[H8804] H2572fiftyH2568and fiveH8141yearsH3389in JerusalemH517. And his mother'sH8034nameH2657was Hephzibah.

2 H6213And he did[H8799] H7451that which was evilH5869in the sightH3068of the LORDH8441, after the abominationsH1471of the heathenH3068, whom the LORDH3423cast out[H8689] H6440beforeH1121the childrenH3478of Israel.

3 H1129For he built up[H8799] H7725again[H8799] H1116the high placesH2396which HezekiahH1his fatherH6had destroyed[H8765] H6965; and he reared up[H8686] H4196altarsH1168for BaalH6213, and made[H8799] H842a groveH6213, as did[H8804] H256AhabH4428kingH3478of IsraelH7812; and worshipped[H8691] H6635all the hostH8064of heavenH5647, and served[H8799]  them.

4 H1129And he built[H8804] H4196altarsH1004in the houseH3068of the LORDH3068, of which the LORDH559said[H8804] H3389, In JerusalemH7760will I put[H8799] H8034my name.

5 H1129And he built[H8799] H4196altarsH6635for all the hostH8064of heavenH8147in the twoH2691courtsH1004of the houseH3068of the LORD.

6 H1121And he made his sonH5674pass[H8689] H784through the fireH6049, and observed times[H8782] H5172, and used enchantments[H8765] H6213, and dealt[H8804] H178with familiar spiritsH3049and wizardsH6213: he wrought[H8800] H7235much[H8689] H7451wickednessH5869in the sightH3068of the LORDH3707, to provoke him to anger[H8687] .

7 H7760And he set[H8799] H6459a graven imageH842of the groveH6213that he had made[H8804] H1004in the houseH3068, of which the LORDH559said[H8804] H1732to DavidH8010, and to SolomonH1121his sonH1004, In this houseH3389, and in JerusalemH977, which I have chosen[H8804] H7626out of all tribesH3478of IsraelH7760, will I put[H8799] H8034my nameH5769for ever:

8 H7272Neither will I make the feetH3478of IsraelH5110move[H8687] H3254any more[H8686] H127out of the landH5414which I gave[H8804] H1their fathersH8104; only if they will observe[H8799] H6213to do[H8800] H6680according to all that I have commanded[H8765] H8451them, and according to all the lawH5650that my servantH4872MosesH6680commanded[H8765]  them.

9 H8085But they hearkened[H8804] H4519not: and ManassehH8582seduced[H8686] H6213them to do[H8800] H7451more evilH1471than did the nationsH3068whom the LORDH8045destroyed[H8689] H6440beforeH1121the childrenH3478of Israel.

10 H3068And the LORDH1696spake[H8762] H3027byH5650his servantsH5030the prophetsH559, saying[H8800] ,

11 H4519Because ManassehH4428kingH3063of JudahH6213hath done[H8804] H8441these abominationsH7489, and hath done wickedly[H8689] H567above all that the AmoritesH6213did[H8804] H6440, which were beforeH3063him, and hath made JudahH2398also to sin[H8686] H1544with his idols:

12 H559Therefore thus saith[H8804] H3068the LORDH430GodH3478of IsraelH935, Behold, I am bringing[H8688] H7451such evilH3389upon JerusalemH3063and JudahH8085, that whosoever heareth[H8802] H8147of it, bothH241his earsH6750shall tingle[H8799] .

13 H5186And I will stretch[H8804] H3389over JerusalemH6957the lineH8111of SamariaH4949, and the plummetH1004of the houseH256of AhabH4229: and I will wipe[H8804] H3389JerusalemH4229as a man wipeth[H8799] H6747a dishH4229, wiping[H8804] H2015it, and turning[H8804] H6440it upside down.

14 H5203And I will forsake[H8804] H7611the remnantH5159of mine inheritanceH5414, and deliver[H8804] H3027them into the handH341of their enemies[H8802] H957; and they shall become a preyH4933and a spoilH341to all their enemies[H8802] ;

15 H6213Because they have done[H8804] H7451that which was evilH5869in my sightH4480, and have provokedH3707me to anger[H8688] H3117, since the dayH1their fathersH3318came forth[H8804] H4714out of EgyptH3117, even unto this day.

16 H4519Moreover ManassehH8210shed[H8804] H5355innocentH1818bloodH3966veryH7235much[H8687] H4390, till he had filled[H8765] H3389JerusalemH6310from one endH6310to anotherH2403; beside his sinH3063wherewith he made JudahH2398to sin[H8689] H6213, in doing[H8800] H7451that which was evilH5869in the sightH3068of the LORD.

17 H3499Now the restH1697of the actsH4519of ManassehH6213, and all that he did[H8804] H2403, and his sinH2398that he sinned[H8804] H3789, are they not written[H8803] H5612in the bookH1697of the chroniclesH3117 H4428of the kingsH3063of Judah?

18 H4519And ManassehH7901slept[H8799] H1with his fathersH6912, and was buried[H8735] H1588in the gardenH1004of his own houseH1588, in the gardenH5798of UzzaH526: and AmonH1121his sonH4427reigned[H8799]  in his stead.

19 H526AmonH6242was twentyH8147and twoH8141yearsH1121oldH4427when he began to reign[H8800] H4427, and he reigned[H8804] H8147twoH8141yearsH3389in JerusalemH517. And his mother'sH8034nameH4922was MeshullemethH1323, the daughterH2743of HaruzH3192of Jotbah.

20 H6213And he did[H8799] H7451that which was evilH5869in the sightH3068of the LORDH1, as his fatherH4519ManassehH6213did[H8804] .

21 H3212And he walked[H8799] H1870in all the wayH1that his fatherH1980walked in[H8804] H5647, and served[H8799] H1544the idolsH1that his fatherH5647served[H8804] H7812, and worshipped[H8691]  them:

22 H5800And he forsook[H8799] H3068the LORDH430GodH1of his fathersH1980, and walked[H8804] H1870not in the wayH3068of the LORD.

23 H5650And the servantsH526of AmonH7194conspired[H8799] H4191against him, and slew[H8686] H4428the kingH1004in his own house.

24 H5971And the peopleH776of the landH5221slew[H8686] H7194all them that had conspired[H8802] H4428against kingH526AmonH5971; and the peopleH776of the landH2977made JosiahH1121his sonH4427king[H8686]  in his stead.

25 H3499Now the restH1697of the actsH526of AmonH6213which he did[H8804] H3789, are they not written[H8803] H5612in the bookH1697of the chroniclesH3117 H4428of the kingsH3063of Judah?

26 H6912And he was buried[H8799] H6900in his sepulchreH1588in the gardenH5798of UzzaH2977: and JosiahH1121his sonH4427reigned[H8799]  in his stead.
