Samuel 19 - King James Bible with Strong Numbers

H7586And SaulH1696spake[H8762] H3129to JonathanH1121his sonH5650, and to all his servantsH4191, that they should kill[H8687] H1732David.

H3083But JonathanH7586Saul'sH1121sonH2654delighted[H8804] H3966muchH1732in DavidH3083: and JonathanH5046told[H8686] H1732DavidH559, saying[H8800] H7586, SaulH1my fatherH1245seeketh[H8764] H4191to kill[H8687] H8104thee: now therefore, I pray thee, take heed[H8734] H1242to thyself until the morningH3427, and abide[H8804] H5643in a secretH2244place, and hide[H8738]  thyself:

H3318And I will go out[H8799] H5975and stand[H8804] H3027besideH1my fatherH7704in the fieldH1696where thou art, and I will commune[H8762] H1with my fatherH4100of thee; and whatH7200I see[H8804] H5046, that I will tell[H8689]  thee.

H3083And JonathanH1696spake[H8762] H2896goodH1732of DavidH7586unto SaulH1his fatherH559, and said[H8799] H4428unto him, Let not the kingH2398sin[H8799] H5650against his servantH1732, against DavidH2398; because he hath not sinned[H8804] H4639against thee, and because his worksH3966have been to thee-ward veryH2896good:

H7760For he did put[H8799] H5315his lifeH3709in his handH5221, and slew[H8686] H6430the PhilistineH3068, and the LORDH6213wrought[H8799] H1419a greatH8668salvationH3478for all IsraelH7200: thou sawest[H8804] H8055it, and didst rejoice[H8799] H2398: wherefore then wilt thou sin[H8799] H5355against innocentH1818bloodH4191, to slay[H8687] H1732DavidH2600without a cause?

H7586And SaulH8085hearkened[H8799] H6963unto the voiceH3083of JonathanH7586: and SaulH7650sware[H8735] H3068, As the LORDH2416livethH518, he shall notH4191be slain[H8714] .

H3083And JonathanH7121called[H8799] H1732DavidH3083, and JonathanH5046shewed[H8686] H1697him all those thingsH3083. And JonathanH935brought[H8686] H1732DavidH7586to SaulH6440, and he was in his presenceH865, as in times pastH8032 .

H4421And there was warH3254again[H8686] H1732: and DavidH3318went out[H8799] H3898, and fought[H8735] H6430with the PhilistinesH5221, and slew[H8686] H1419them with a greatH4347slaughterH5127; and they fled[H8799] H6440from him.

H7451And the evilH7307spiritH3068from the LORDH7586was upon SaulH3427, as he sat[H8802] H1004in his houseH2595with his javelinH3027in his handH1732: and DavidH5059played[H8764] H3027with his hand.

H7586And SaulH1245sought[H8762] H5221to smite[H8687] H1732DavidH7023even to the wallH2595with the javelinH6362; but he slipped away[H8799] H7586out of Saul'sH6440presenceH5221, and he smote[H8686] H2595the javelinH7023into the wallH1732: and DavidH5127fled[H8804] H4422, and escaped[H8735] H3915that night.

H7586SaulH7971also sent[H8799] H4397messengersH1732unto David'sH1004houseH8104, to watch[H8800] H4191him, and to slay[H8687] H1242him in the morningH4324: and MichalH1732David'sH802wifeH5046told[H8686] H559him, saying[H8800] H4422, If thou save[H8764] H5315not thy lifeH3915to nightH4279, to morrowH4191thou shalt be slain[H8716] .

H4324So MichalH3381letH1732DavidH3381down[H8686] H2474through a windowH3212: and he went[H8799] H1272, and fled[H8799] H4422, and escaped[H8735] .

H4324And MichalH3947took[H8799] H8655an imageH7760, and laid[H8799] H4296it in the bedH7760, and put[H8804] H3523a pillowH5795of goatsH4763' hair for his bolsterH3680, and covered[H8762] H899it with a cloth.

H7586And when SaulH7971sent[H8799] H4397messengersH3947to take[H8800] H1732DavidH559, she said[H8799] H2470, He is sick[H8802] .

H7586And SaulH7971sent[H8799] H4397the messengersH7200again to see[H8800] H1732DavidH559, saying[H8800] H5927, Bring him up[H8685] H4296to me in the bedH4191, that I may slay[H8687]  him.

H4397And when the messengersH935were come in[H8799] H8655, behold, there was an imageH4296in the bedH3523, with a pillowH5795of goatsH4763' hair for his bolster.

H7586And SaulH559said[H8799] H4324unto MichalH7411, Why hast thou deceived me so[H8765] H7971, and sent away[H8762] H341mine enemy[H8802] H4422, that he is escaped[H8735] H4324? And MichalH559answered[H8799] H7586SaulH559, He said[H8804] H7971unto me, Let me go[H8761] H4191; why should I kill[H8686]  thee?

H1732So DavidH1272fled[H8804] H4422, and escaped[H8735] H935, and came[H8799] H8050to SamuelH7414to RamahH5046, and told[H8686] H7586him all that SaulH6213had done[H8804] H8050to him. And he and SamuelH3212went[H8799] H3427and dwelt[H8799] H5121in Naioth.

H5046And it was told[H8714] H7586SaulH559, saying[H8800] H1732, Behold, DavidH5121is at NaiothH7414in Ramah.

H7586And SaulH7971sent[H8799] H4397messengersH3947to take[H8800] H1732DavidH7200: and when they saw[H8799] H3862the companyH5030of the prophetsH5012prophesying[H8737] H8050, and SamuelH5975standing[H8802] H5324as appointed[H8737] H7307over them, the SpiritH430of GodH4397was upon the messengersH7586of SaulH5012, and they also prophesied[H8691] .

H5046And when it was told[H8686] H7586SaulH7971, he sent[H8799] H312otherH4397messengersH5012, and they prophesied[H8691] H7586likewise. And SaulH7971sent[H8799] H4397messengersH3254again[H8686] H7992the thirdH5012time, and they prophesied[H8691]  also.

H3212Then went[H8799] H7414he also to RamahH935, and came[H8799] H1419to a greatH953wellH7906that is in SechuH7592: and he asked[H8799] H559and said[H8799] H375, WhereH8050are SamuelH1732and DavidH559? And one said[H8799] H5121, Behold, they be at NaiothH7414in Ramah.

H3212And he went[H8799] H5121thither to NaiothH7414in RamahH7307: and the SpiritH430of GodH3212was upon him also, and he went[H8799] H1980on[H8800] H5012, and prophesied[H8691] H935, until he came[H8800] H5121to NaiothH7414in Ramah.

H6584And he stripped off[H8799] H899his clothesH1571alsoH5012, and prophesied[H8691] H6440beforeH8050SamuelH5307in like manner, and lay down[H8799] H6174nakedH3117all that dayH3915and all that nightH559. Wherefore they say[H8799] H7586, Is SaulH5030also among the prophets?
