God came to Balaam at night, and said to him, “If the men have come to call you, rise up, go with them, but you must only do the word which I speak to you.”


God came to Balaam, and said, “Who are these men with you?”


Balaam said to Balak, “Build here seven altars for me, and prepare here seven bulls and seven rams for me.”


YHWH met Balaam, and put a word in his mouth, and said, “Return to Balak, and say this.”


Balaam said to Balak, “Stand by your burnt offering, and I will go. Perhaps YHWH will come to meet me. Whatever he shows me I will tell you.” He went to a bare height.


YHWH put a word in Balaam’s mouth, and said, “Return to Balak, and say what I tell you.”


saying, ‘These who were hired last have worked one hour, and yet you have made them equal to us who have borne the burden of the day and the scorching heat!’


I fast twice a week, and I give a tenth of all that I get.’


They will put y’all out of the synagogues. Yes, the time is coming that whoever kills y’all will think they are offering service to God.


Where then is the boasting? It is shut out. By what sort of law? Of works? No, rather by a law of faith.


not by works, so that no one can boast.
