When the sun arose, God appointed a hot east wind; and the sun beat on Jonah’s head, so that he became faint. He begged with all his soul to die, saying, “It is better for me to die than to live.”


Y’all say also, ‘See, what a hardship it is!’ as y’all sniff at it disdainfully”, says YHWH Almighty. “Y’all bring stolen, lame, and sick animals—y’all bring this as a sacrifice! Should I accept this from your* hand?” says YHWH.


Y’all have said, ‘It is futile to serve God,’ and ‘What profit is it that we have followed ʜɪꜱ instructions and that we have walked mournfully before YHWH Almighty?


When they received it, they began to complain against the landowner,


And when a south wind blows, y’all say, ‘It’s going to be hot,’ and it is.


Where then is the boasting? It is shut out. By what sort of law? Of works? No, rather by a law of faith.


After all, there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith.


To this present hour we are hungry, thirsty, naked, beaten, and homeless.


that the ethnic groups are fellow heirs and fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of ʜɪꜱ promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel.


For the sun rises with scorching wind and withers the grass. Then the flower falls, and its beautiful appearance is destroyed. So the rich person will also fade away in their pursuits.
