They spend their days in prosperity. In an instant they go down to Sheol.


The wicked is brought down in his calamity, but in death, the righteous has a refuge.


So I saw the wicked buried. Indeed they came also from holiness. They went and were forgotten in the city where they did this. This also is emptiness.


All the kings of the nations sleep in glory, everyone in his own house.


‘What are you doing here? Who has you here, that you have dug out a tomb here?’ Cutting himself out a tomb on high, chiseling a habitation for himself in the rock!”


See that y’all don’t despise one of these little ones. For I tell y’all that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven.


And he will send out his angels with a great trumpet call, and they will gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.


I tell y’all that many will come from the east and the west, and will sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the Empire of Heaven,


For what does it profit a human to gain the whole world and forfeit their life?


“But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your soul is required of you. But who will get the things that you prepared for yourself?’


He longed to be fed with what fell from the rich man’s table, but instead the dogs came and licked his sores.


No one has ever seen God, but the only begotten God, who is in the bosom of the Father, has made ʜɪᴍ known.


One of his disciples, whom Jesus loved, was reclining against Jesus’s chest.

For the sun rises with scorching wind and withers the grass. Then the flower falls, and its beautiful appearance is destroyed. So the rich person will also fade away in their pursuits.
