For you will not leave my soul in Sheol, nor will you allow your faithful one to see decay.


But God will redeem my soul from the power of Sheol, for ʜᴇ will receive me. Selah.


For your lovingkindness is great toward me. You have delivered my soul from the lowest Sheol.


The wicked will return to Sheol, all the nations that forget God.


The path of life leads upward for the wise, to keep him from going downward to Sheol.


Her feet go down to death. Her steps lead straight to Sheol.


Her house is the way to Sheol, going down to the rooms of death.


But he doesn’t know that the departed spirits are there, that her guests are in the depths of Sheol.


Yet you will be brought down to Sheol, to the depths of the pit.

If your eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away. It is more beautiful for you to enter life with one eye than to have two eyes and be cast into the fire of hell.


Snakes! Brood of vipers! How will y’all escape the judgment of hell?


But I tell y’all that everyone who is enraged with their sibling will be subject to judgment. Whoever calls their sibling, ‘You good-for-nothing!’ will be in danger of the council. Whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell.


If your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from you. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members should perish than for your whole body to be cast into hell.


And they cried out, saying, “What do we have to do with you, Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the time?”


So he called out, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me! Send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am in agony in these flames.’


for I have five brothers, to warn them, so that they won’t also come to this place of torment.’


When he saw Jesus, he cried out and fell down before him, shouting with a loud voice, “What do I have to do with you, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg you, don’t torment me!”


“Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?”


For if God didn’t spare angels when they sinned, but threw them into Tartarus, and committed them to chains of darkness to be kept until judgment;


The devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet are also. And they will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
