He said, “Now take your son, your only son, Isaac, whom you love, and go into the land of Moriah. Offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains which I will tell you of.”


As for the holy people who are in the earth, they are the excellent ones in whom is all my delight.


When the Lord saw her, he felt gut-wrenching sympathy for her and said to her, “Don’t cry.”


Now a certain man was sick, Lazarus from Bethany, of the village of Mary and her sister, Martha.


He said these things, and after that, he said to them, “Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep, but I am going so that I may wake him up from sleep.”
