He said to me, “Daniel, you greatly beloved man, understand the words that I speak to you, and stand upright, for I have been sent to you, now.” When he had spoken this word to me, I stood trembling.
just as they were handed down to us from those who were eyewitnesses and servants of the word from the beginning.
For he was counted among us and received a share of this deacon-work.”

But I don’t consider my life worth even a single mention. Instead I aim to finish my race and the deacon-work which I received from the Lord Jesus—to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.
He greeted them and narrated every detail of how God worked among the ethnic groups through his deacon-work.
I said, ‘What should I do, Lord?’ The Lord said to me, ‘Get up and go into Damascus. There you will be told about everything that you have been appointed to do.’
The following night, the Lord stood by him and said, “Take courage! As you have testified about me in Jerusalem, so it is necessary for you to testify in Rome.”
“I asked, ‘Who are you, Lord?’ “He replied, ‘I am Jesus, the one you are persecuting.
But we will devote ourselves to prayer and to the deacon-work of the word.”
through whom we received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith among all the ethnic groups for his name’s sake;
that I should be a servant of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles, serving as a priest of the gospel of God, so that the offering up of the ethnic groups might be made acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.
Therefore, since we have this deacon-work because we were shown mercy, we do not lose heart.
But all things are from God, who reconciled us to ʜɪᴍꜱᴇʟꜰ through Christ and gave us the deacon-work of reconciliation,
For I didn’t receive it from any human, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ.
I went up because of a revelation, and I laid before them the gospel that I preach among the ethnic groups, but privately before those who were respected, for fear that I might be running, or had run, in vain.

By pointing out these things to the siblings, you will be an excellent deacon of Christ Jesus, nourished in the words of the faith and the excellent teaching you have followed.
But you are to be sober-minded in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, and accomplish your deacon-work.
