The youths grow tired and weary, the young men stumble-stumble,


but those who wait for YHWH will renew their strength. They will rise up on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not get tired.


‘You said, “Woe is me now! For YHWH has added sorrow to my pain! I am weary with my groaning, and I find no rest.”’


Then Jesus told them a parable about the need to always pray and not give up.


Who then is Apollos, and who is Paul, but deacons through whom y’all believed, and as the Lord gave to each one?


Now concerning virgins: I have no commandment from the Lord, but I give my judgment as one who has obtained mercy from the Lord to be trustworthy.


Therefore, since we have this kind of hope, we act with great boldness,


Hᴇ also made us competent as deacons of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.


Therefore we do not lose heart. Though our outer humanity is decaying, our inside is being renewed day by day.


But all things are from God, who reconciled us to ʜɪᴍꜱᴇʟꜰ through Christ and gave us the deacon-work of reconciliation,


Let’s not be weary in doing what is excellent, for we will reap in due season if we don’t give up.


Therefore I ask y’all not to lose heart at my oppressions for y’all, which are your* glory.


I can do all things through him who strengthens me.


As for you*, siblings, don’t y’all grow weary of what is right.


even though I used to be a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an arrogant man. However, I was shown mercy because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.


For y’all should contemplate him and the hostility he endured from sinners, so that y’all don’t grow weary and lose heart.


Formerly, not a people, now the people of God. Formerly not receiving mercy, but now receiving mercy.


You have perseverance, you have endured for the sake of my name, and you have not grown weary.
