Iacob begat Ioseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born that Iesus which is called Christ.


Simon Peter answered, and said: Thou art Christ the son of the living God.


¶ And as they came down from the mountain, he charged them saying: see that ye shew this vision to no man, til the son of man be risen again from death.


And Iesus said unto him: See thou tell no man, but go and shew thyself to the priest and offer the gift, that Moses commanded to be offered in witness to them.


And he charged them, that they should tell no man of it.


¶ As they came down from the hill, he charged them, that they should tell no man what they had seen, till the son of man were risen from death again.


for unto you is born this day in the city of David a saviour, which is Christ the Lord.


He warned and commanded them, that they should tell no man that thing,


And as soon as the voice was past, Iesus was found alone. And they kept it close: and told no man in those days any of those things, which they had seen.


The same found his brother Simon first, and said unto him: we have found Messias, which is by interpretation anointed:


Philip found Nathanael, and said unto him: We have found him of whom Moses wrote in the law, and the prophets: Iesus the son of Ioseph of Nazareth.


She said unto him: yee Lord: I believe that thou art Christ the son of God, which shall come into the world.


These are written that ye might believe that Iesus is Christ the son of God. And that ye in believing ye might have life thorow his name.


So therefore let all the house of Israhel know for a surety, that God hath made the same Iesus whom ye have crucified, Lord and Christ.


Who is a liar: but he that denieth that Iesus is Christ? he is the Antichrist that denieth the father and the son.


¶ Whosoever believeth that Iesus is Christ, is born of God. And every one that loveth him which begat, loveth him also which was begotten of him.
