For in the days of David and Asaf of old there was a chief of the singers, and songs of praise and thanksgiving to God.


Moreover the Levites: Yeshua, Binnui, Kadmi'el, Sherevyah, Yehudah, [and] Mattanyah, who was over the thanksgiving, he and his brothers.


Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him, and bless his name.


Blessed be the LORD, the God of Yisra'el, from everlasting even to everlasting! Let all the people say, *Amein.* Praise the LORD!


Let them offer the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with singing.


I will offer to you the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call on the name of the LORD.


Sing to the LORD with thanksgiving. Sing praises on the harp to our God,

Otherwise if you bless with the spirit, how will he who fills the place of the unlearned say the *Amein* at your giving of thanks, seeing he doesn't know what you say?
