The men of Yehudah came, and there they anointed David king over the house of Yehudah. They told David, saying, The men of Yavesh-Gil`ad were those who buried Sha'ul.
So all the elders of Yisra'el came to the king to Chevron; and king David made a covenant with them in Chevron before the LORD: and they anointed David king over Yisra'el.

Now therefore arise, LORD God, into your resting place, you, and the ark of your strength: let your Kohanim, LORD God, be clothed with yeshu`ah, and let your holy ones rejoice in goodness.
Who has first given to me, that I should repay him? Everything under the heavens is mine.
They came on me in the day of my calamity, but the LORD was my support.
We will triumph in your yeshu`ah. In the name of our God, we will set up our banners. May the LORD grant all your requests.
Oh how great is your goodness, which you have laid up for those who fear you, which you have worked for those who take refuge in you, before the sons of men!
My God will go before me with his loving kindness. God will let me look at my enemies in triumph.
Or do you despise the riches of his goodness, forbearance, and patience, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?

But we see him who has been made a little lower than the angels, Yeshua, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that by the grace of God he should taste of death for everyone.
His eyes are a flame of fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has names written and a name written which no one knows but he himself.
Then Shemu'el took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brothers: and the Spirit of the LORD came mightily on David from that day forward. So Shemu'el rose up, and went to Ramah.
