Moshe said, *This is the thing which the LORD has commanded, 'Let an omer-full of it be kept throughout your generations, that they may see the bread with which I fed you in the wilderness, when I brought you forth from the land of Egypt.'*
As the LORD commanded Moshe, so Aharon laid it up before the Testimony, to be kept.
Hear, heavens, and listen, earth; for the LORD has spoken: I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.
*Yisra'el, you have sinned from the days of Gevah. There they remained. The battle against the children of iniquity doesn't overtake them in Gevah.
Then Moshe and Aharon fell on their faces before all the assembly of the congregation of the children of Yisra'el.
Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment.
