Make vows to the LORD your God, and fulfill them! Let all of his neighbors bring presents to him who is to be feared.


*You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.


*'You shall not swear by my name falsely, and profane the name of your God. I am the LORD.


Behold, on the mountains the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes shalom! Keep your feasts, Yehudah! Perform your vows, for the wicked one will no more pass through you. He is utterly cut off.


*You have heard that it was said to the ancient ones, 'You shall not murder;' and 'Whoever shall murder shall be in danger of the judgment.'


*You have heard that it was said, 'You shall not commit adultery;'


When you shall vow a vow to the LORD your God, you shall not be slack to pay it: for the LORD your God will surely require it of you; and it would be sin in you.
