Isn't this the carpenter's son? Isn't his mother called Miriam, and his brothers, Ya`akov, Yosi, Shim`on, and Yehudah?
As Yeshua passed by from there, he saw a man called Mattityahu sitting at the tax collection office. He said to him, *Follow me.* He got up and followed him.
As he passed by, he saw Levi, the son of Chalfai, sitting at the tax office, and he said to him, *Follow me.* And he arose and followed him.
Ya`akov Ben-Zavdai; Yochanan, the brother of Ya`akov, and he surnamed them Benei-Regesh, which means, Sons of Thunder;
Isn't this the carpenter, the son of Miriam, and brother of Ya`akov, Yosi, Yehudah, and Shim`on? Aren't his sisters here with us?* They were offended at him.
One of the two who heard Yochanan, and followed him, was Andrew, Shim`on Kefa's brother.
T'oma therefore, who is called Didymus, said to his fellow talmidim, *Let's go also, that we may die with him.*
Yehudah (not Iskriot) said to him, *Lord, what has happened that you are about to reveal yourself to us, and not to the world?*
Shim`on Kefa, T'oma called Didymus, Natan'el of Kanah in the Galil, and the sons of Zavdai, and two others of his talmidim were together.
When they had come in, they went up into the upper room, where they were staying; that is Kefa, Yochanan, Ya`akov, Andrew, Philip, T'oma, Bar-Talmai, Mattityahu, Ya`akov Ben-Chalfai, Shim`on the Zealot, and Yehudah the son of Ya`akov.
The day following, Sha'ul went in with us to Ya`akov; and all the elders were present.

But of the other emissaries I saw no one, except Ya`akov, the Lord's brother.
and when they perceived the grace that was given to me, Ya`akov and Kefa and Yochanan, they who were reputed to be pillars, gave to me and Bar-Nabba the right hand of fellowship, that we should go to the Gentiles, and they to the circumcision.
Ya`akov, a servant of God and of the Lord Yeshua the Messiah, to the twelve tribes which are in the Diaspora: Greetings.
Yehudah, a servant of Yeshua the Messiah, and brother of Ya`akov, to those who are called, sanctified by God the Father, and kept for Yeshua the Messiah:
