As Yeshua passed by from there, he saw a man called Mattityahu sitting at the tax collection office. He said to him, *Follow me.* He got up and followed him.


He will himself show you a large upper room furnished and ready. Make ready for us there.*


He took with him Kefa, Ya`akov, and Yochanan, and began to be greatly troubled and distressed.


As he passed by, he saw Levi, the son of Chalfai, sitting at the tax office, and he said to him, *Follow me.* And he arose and followed him.


He allowed no one to follow him, except Kefa, Ya`akov, and Yochanan the brother of Ya`akov.


After six days Yeshua took with him Kefa, Ya`akov, and Yochanan, and brought them up onto a high mountain privately by themselves, and he was changed into another form in front of them.


He will show you a large, furnished upper room. Make preparations there.*


T'oma therefore, who is called Didymus, said to his fellow talmidim, *Let's go also, that we may die with him.*


Yehudah (not Iskriot) said to him, *Lord, what has happened that you are about to reveal yourself to us, and not to the world?*


Then the maid who kept the door said to Kefa, *Are you also one of this man's talmidim?* He said, *I am not.*


Shim`on Kefa, T'oma called Didymus, Natan'el of Kanah in the Galil, and the sons of Zavdai, and two others of his talmidim were together.


But he, beckoning to them with his hand to be silent, declared to them how the Lord had brought him out of the prison. He said, *Tell these things to Ya`akov, and to the brothers.* Then he departed, and went to another place.


After they were silent, Ya`akov answered, *Brothers, listen to me.


But Kefa, standing up with the Eleven, lifted up his voice, and spoke out to them, *You men of Yehudah, and all you who dwell at Yerushalayim, let this be known to you, and listen to my words.


Kefa said to them, *Repent, and be immersed, every one of you, in the name of Yeshua the Messiah for the forgiveness of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.


There were many lights in the upper chamber where we were gathered together.


Now when they saw the boldness of Kefa and Yochanan, and had perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled. They recognized that they had been with Yeshua.


But Kefa and Yochanan answered them, *Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, judge for yourselves,


Then he appeared to Ya`akov, then to all the emissaries,


But of the other emissaries I saw no one, except Ya`akov, the Lord's brother.


and when they perceived the grace that was given to me, Ya`akov and Kefa and Yochanan, they who were reputed to be pillars, gave to me and Bar-Nabba the right hand of fellowship, that we should go to the Gentiles, and they to the circumcision.


Ya`akov, a servant of God and of the Lord Yeshua the Messiah, to the twelve tribes which are in the Diaspora: Greetings.


The elder, to the chosen lady and her children, whom I love in truth; and not I only, but also all those who know the truth;


Yehudah, a servant of Yeshua the Messiah, and brother of Ya`akov, to those who are called, sanctified by God the Father, and kept for Yeshua the Messiah:
