Now the men of Sedom were exceedingly wicked and sinners against the LORD.


It came to pass on the next day, that the firstborn said to the younger, *Behold, I lay last night with my father. Let us make him drink wine again, tonight. You go in, and lie with him, that we may preserve our father's seed.*


but he didn't respect Kayin and his offering. Kayin was very angry, and the expression on his face fell.


When Yehu was come to Yizre`el, Izevel heard of it; and she painted her eyes, and attired her head, and looked out at the window.


The wicked, in the pride of his face, has no room in his thoughts for God.


He who refuses correction despises his own soul, but he who listens to reproof gets understanding.


There is a generation, oh how lofty are their eyes! Their eyelids are lifted up.


But he who sins against me wrongs his own soul. All those who hate me love death.*


Hear the word of the LORD, you rulers of Sedom! Listen to the law of our God, you people of `Amorah!

For our transgressions are multiplied before you, and our sins testify against us; for our transgressions are with us, and as for our iniquities, we know them:


Your own wickedness shall correct you, and your backsliding shall reprove you: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and a bitter, that you have forsaken the LORD your God, and that my fear is not in you, says the Lord, the LORD of Armies.


Therefore the showers have been withheld, and there has been no latter rain; yet you have a prostitute's forehead, you refused to be ashamed.

The pride of Yisra'el testifies to his face. Therefore Yisra'el and Efrayim will stumble in their iniquity. Yehudah also will stumble with them.


For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Messiah Yeshua our Lord.


Their dead bodies will be in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sedom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified.


Then said Shemu'el, Bring you here to me Agag the king of the `Amaleki. Agag came to him cheerfully. Agag said, Surely the bitterness of death is past.
