He who flees from the fear shall fall into the pit; and he who gets up out of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for I will bring on him, even on Mo'av, the year of their visitation, says the LORD.


Therefore I have cut them to pieces with the prophets; I killed them with the words of my mouth. Your judgments are like a flash of lightning.


For when they are saying, *Peace and safety,* then sudden destruction will come on them, like birth pains on a pregnant woman; and they will in no way escape.


Then said Yehoshua, Open the mouth of the cave, and bring forth those five kings to me out of the cave.


However much she glorified herself, and grew wanton, so much give her of torment and mourning. For she says in her heart, 'I sit a queen, and am no widow, and will in no way see mourning.'


Gid`on went up by the way of those who lived in tents on the east of Novach and Yogbehah, and struck the army; for the army was secure.


So Shemu'el turned again after Sha'ul; and Sha'ul worshiped the LORD.


Shemu'el said, As your sword has made women childless, so shall your mother be childless among women. Shemu'el hewed Agag in pieces before the LORD in Gilgal.
