After these things the word of the LORD came to Avram in a vision, saying, *Don't be afraid, Avram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.*


The man looked steadfastly at her, remaining silent, to know whether the LORD had made his journey prosperous or not.


He said, *Blessed be the LORD, the God of my master Avraham, who has not forsaken his loving kindness and his truth toward my master. As for me, the LORD has led me in the way to the house of my master's relatives.*


I came this day to the spring, and said, 'The LORD, the God of my master Avraham, if now you do prosper my way which I go--


I bowed my head, and worshiped the LORD, and blessed the LORD, the God of my master Avraham, who had led me in the right way to take my master's brother's daughter for his son.


The LORD appeared to him the same night, and said, *I am the God of Avraham your father. Don't be afraid, for I am with you, and will bless you, and multiply your seed for my servant Avraham's sake.*


You shall bring it to your father, that he may eat, so that he may bless you before his death.*


Yitzchak said to his son, *How is it that you have found it so quickly, my son?* He said, *Because the LORD your God gave me success.*


Behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, *I am the LORD, the God of Avraham your father, and the God of Yitzchak. The land whereon you lie, to you will I give it, and to your seed.


Unless the God of my father, the God of Avraham, and the fear of Yitzchak, had been with me, surely now you would have sent me away empty. God has seen my affliction and the labor of my hands, and rebuked you last night.*


I am not worthy of the least of all the loving kindnesses, and of all the truth, which you have shown to your servant; for with just my staff I passed over this Yarden; and now I have become two companies.


Ya`akov said, *God of my father Avraham, and God of my father Yitzchak, the LORD, who said to me, 'Return to your country, and to your relatives, and I will do you good,'


May El Shaddai give you mercy before the man, that he may release to you your other brother and Binyamin. If I am bereaved of my children, I am bereaved.*


It happened at the time of the offering of the [evening] offering, that Eliyahu the prophet came near, and said, LORD, the God of Avraham, of Yitzchak, and of Yisra'el, let it be known this day that you are God in Yisra'el, and that I am your servant, and that I have done all these things at your word.


He took the mantle of Eliyahu that fell from him, and struck the waters, and said, Where is the LORD, the God of Eliyahu? and when he also had struck the waters, they were divided here and there; and Elisha went over.


Lord, I beg you, let now your ear be attentive to the prayer of your servant, and to the prayer of your servants, who delight to fear your name; and please prosper your servant this day, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man. Now I was cup bearer to the king.


Then the king said to me, For what do you make request? So I prayed to the God of heaven.


Save us now, we beg you, LORD! LORD, we beg you, send prosperity now.


Pray for the shalom of Yerushalayim. Those who love you will prosper.


Commit your way to the LORD. Trust also in him, and he will do this:


God said moreover to Moshe, *You shall tell the children of Yisra'el this, 'The LORD, the God of your fathers, the God of Avraham, the God of Yitzchak, and the God of Ya`akov, has sent me to you.' This is my name forever, and this is my memorial to all generations.


Moreover he said, *I am the God of your father, the God of Avraham, the God of Yitzchak, and the God of Ya`akov.* Moshe hid his face; for he was afraid to look at God.


In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.


'I am the God of Avraham, and the God of Yitzchak, and the God of Ya`akov?' God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.*


In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
