Behold, the word of the LORD came to him, saying, *This man will not be your heir, but he who will come forth out of your own body will be your heir.*


He gives great deliverance to his king, and shows loving kindness to his anointed, to David and to his seed, forevermore.


Otherwise it will happen, when my lord the king shall sleep with his fathers, that I and my son Shlomo shall be counted offenders.


Also thus said the king, Blessed be the LORD, the God of Yisra'el, who has given one to sit on my throne this day, my eyes even seeing it.


Now the days of David drew near that he should die; and he charged Shlomo his son, saying,


David slept with his fathers, and was buried in the city of David.


That the LORD may establish his word which he spoke concerning me, saying, If your children take heed to their way, to walk before me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul, there shall not fail you (said he) a man on the throne of Yisra'el.


Behold, I purpose to build a house for the name of the LORD my God, as the LORD spoke to David my father, saying, Your son, whom I will set on your throne in your room, he shall build the house for my name.


He said, Blessed be the LORD, the God of Yisra'el, who spoke with his mouth to David your father, and has with his hand fulfilled it, saying,


nevertheless you shall not build the house; but your son who shall come forth out of your body, he shall build the house for my name.


The LORD has established his word that he spoke; for I am risen up in the room of David my father, and sit on the throne of Yisra'el, as the LORD promised, and have built the house for the name of the LORD, the God of Yisra'el.


then I will establish the throne of your kingdom over Yisra'el forever, according as I promised to David your father, saying, There shall not fail you a man on the throne of Yisra'el.


However the LORD would not destroy Yehudah, for David his servant's sake, as he promised him to give to him a lamp for his children always.


It shall happen, when your days are fulfilled that you must go to be with your fathers, that I will set up your seed after you, who shall be of your sons; and I will establish his kingdom.


Now, LORD God, let your promise to David my father be established; for you have made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude.


Ought you not to know that the LORD, the God of Yisra'el, gave the kingdom over Yisra'el to David forever, even to him and to his sons by a covenant of salt?


However the LORD would not destroy the house of David, because of the covenant that he had made with David, and as he promised to give a lamp to him and to his children always.


All the assembly made a covenant with the king in the house of God. He said to them, Behold, the king's son shall reign, as the LORD has spoken concerning the sons of David.


who have kept with your servant David my father that which you did promise him: yes, you spoke with your mouth, and have fulfilled it with your hand, as it is this day.


nevertheless you shall not build the house; but your son who shall come forth out of your body, he shall build the house for my name.


I will also make his seed endure forever, and his throne as the days of heaven.


It will happen in that day that the nations will seek the root of Yishai, who stands as a banner of the peoples; and his resting place will be glorious.


Of the increase of his government and of shalom there shall be no end, on the throne of David, and on his kingdom, to establish it, and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from that time on, even forever. The zeal of the LORD of Armies will perform this.


For thus says the LORD: David shall never want a man to sit on the throne of the house of Yisra'el;


Many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.


The book of the generation of Yeshua the Messiah, the son of David, the son of Avraham.


He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Elyon. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father, David,


Beginning from Moshe and from all the prophets, he explained to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself.


For David, after he had in his own generation served the counsel of God, fell asleep, and was laid with his fathers, and saw decay.


Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his body, according to the flesh, he would raise up the Messiah to sit on his throne,


Behold, I tell you a mystery. We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed,


The LORD said to Moshe, Behold, you shall sleep with your fathers; and this people will rise up, and play the prostitute after the strange gods of the land, where they go to be among them, and will forsake me, and break my covenant which I have made with them.


For if we believe that Yeshua died and rose again, even so God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in Yeshua.
