This is the way they dedicated {\cf2\super [36]} God’s temple: They offered 100 bulls, 200 rams, and 400 male lambs. And they offered twelve male goats for all Israel for a sin offering. That is one goat for each of the twelve family groups of Israel.


Then the Jewish people that came back from captivity offered burnt offerings to the God of Israel. They offered twelve bulls for all Israel, 96 rams, 77 male lambs, and twelve male goats for a sin offering. All this was a burnt offering to the Lord.


Praise him, you people that are standing\par in the Lord’s temple,\par in the courtyard of the temple of our God.\par


Jesus said to the followers, “I tell you the truth. When the new world is made, the Son of Man {\cf2\super [270]} will sit on his great throne. And all of you that followed me will also sit on thrones. You will sit on twelve thrones and you will judge the twelve family groups of Israel. {\cf2\super [271]}


A man named Simeon lived in Jerusalem. He was a good man that truly worshiped God. Simeon was waiting for the time when God would come to help Israel (the Jews). The Holy Spirit {\cf2\super [35]} was in him.


You will eat and drink at my table in my kingdom. You will sit on thrones and judge the twelve tribes (family groups) of Israel. {\cf2\super [354]}


So be careful! Always remember this: I was with you for three years. During this time, I never stopped warning you. I taught you night and day. I often cried for you.


I have the same hope in God that these Jews have—the hope that all people, good and bad, will be raised from death.


He said, “King Agrippa, I will answer all the charges that the Jews say against me. I think it is a blessing that I can stand here before you today and do this.


I am very happy to talk to you, because you know much about all the Jewish customs and the things that the Jews argue about. Please listen to me patiently.


That is why I wanted to see you and talk with you. I am bound with this chain because I believe in the hope of Israel. {\cf2\super [526]} ”


If I have those things, then I have hope that I myself will be raised from death.


We continue praying very strongly for you night and day. We pray that we can be there and see you again and give you all the things you need to make your faith strong.


If a widow is really alone and without help, then she hopes in God \{to take care of her\}. That woman prays all the time, night and day. She asks God for help.
