That night Paul saw a vision. {\cf2\super [334]} In this vision, a man from the country of Macedonia came to Paul. The man stood there and begged, “Come across to Macedonia. Help us!”
I am with you. No one will be able to hurt you. Many of my people are in this city.”
I saw Jesus, and Jesus said to me: ‘Hurry! Leave Jerusalem now! The people here will not accept the truth about me.’
The next night the Lord \{Jesus\} came and stood by Paul. He said, “Be brave! You have told people in Jerusalem about me. You must also go to Rome to tell people there about me!”
There was a follower \{of Jesus\} in Damascus. His name was Ananias. The Lord (Jesus) spoke to Ananias in a vision. {\cf2\super [186]} The Lord said, “Ananias!”
